I think the more important game is against Brentford TBH . It would be nice to beat Arsenal and get to a final but we are just not ready to compete at the highest level ATM. Maybe when the new manager beds in, if he gets the chance, and gets a few good solid wins under his belt then we might stand a chance.

I remember a few seasons ago this competition was generally made up of a few first teasers and some young kids, now with the pressure on the managers it appears that teams are going back to playing full strength sides when drawn against quality opposition.

Nah just accept the reality that he will play CM, CAM, whatever. The only way he will stop starting for us is when and if he's sold.

While I don't agree with the (imo batsh*t crazy) notion that that the team is great and the only problem is Enzo (esp in CM), I'd not have a problem if the club made a change there going with a different player profile; I'd feel the same about Caicedo too as his profile, despite being a very good player, isn't really my cup of tea at this level (I know sligthly controversial 😅).

Again, realistically, he will stop playing when he's sold... simple as.

The lack of strength in depth is deeply concerning and comments have already come out from the club stating that they are not prioritising this competition.

I am also not sure why you are referencing the unfit players. i don't recall mentioning anything like that in my post, so i am not sure exactly what you mean by this
