Ok. After all that I voted Frank Lampard. I very nearly went for Anelka, who possibly gave his best display for us so far, and was very unlucky not to get another hat-trick. But then I thought Frank was outstanding, strong and passed well in difficult conditions, made the second goal and was unlucky not to grab a couple himself.

Anelka for me,

Looked up for it from the off and never let his performance go down all game, much better than his day of dubious Hat trick and possibly his best in a Chelsea shirt.

Deco was poor and lucky the manager had the good sense to Sub him with 45 seconds left before he dropped us in it :D mind you Paulo need a run out.

Anelka was busy all game and even managed to score this time.

Showed some good buildup play, and showed imagination in his passing and threaded balls.

Now if he could just play like that against someone half decent...

Thats a bit silly seeing as he is the Leagues top scorer.

Anyway, he certainly gets my vote. Should easily be taking home the match ball for a second week running.

agree with that, i went with lamps too. he was everywhere in that 1st half and set anelka up with plenty of chances.

I can't believe I am actually writing this, and I will deny it later, but my vote goes to Malouda. He was our drive in midfield and had some wonderful touches and passes.

Due mention goes to Anelka and Cech, though

i thought malouda was pretty poor again. his passing at times was woeful, lots of our attacks finished on him in the 1st half. he had several chances to put players in but managed to find a blackburn player nearly every time.
