Sophisticated tickets back then, would have been a joy for the fraudster's!! Remember tickets changing dramatically the following season,  I think they went to the size a little bigger than a travel card. Nice to see the scoreboard in good working order before our northern friends rearranged it!!!!

Ah the 'half in half' ski hats from the mid 1980s.

I know I've posted this before but seeing the half and half hats reminds me of when we played at Anfield in 1985. We drew 1-1. I walked into Anfield and was surprised to see about a thousand Rangers fans. There were no league games in Scotland that weekend as an international match was being played. The game against Liverpool was a few months after we played Rangers in a match to raise money for the Bradford City Stadium fire victims.

At half-time, a Liverpool fan wearing a half and half hat walked in from of the away supporters. One half with Liverpool and one half with Celtic. He got loads of abuse from Chelsea and Rangers fans.

Enjoyed the return game in freezing conditions at ibrox lost 3-2 on a Friday night. Flood lights failed on one side of the ground but game carried on after we all started booing!!!

I didn't go to the 3-2 game but went to the games in 2007 and 2011. The atmosphere at the 2007 game was brilliant.  I travelled to both games with the Rangers Supporters bus from Larkhall a few miles south of Glasgow on each occasion. Great banter on the coach and in the pub back in Larkhall. Two of my cousins are ST holders at Ibrox.

Am looking forward to the Chelsea Legends v Rangers Legends game at Sutton United on 17 June. A few of those playing in the game played for both sides.
