"Boys in blue division 2" Was in the seats for this one! From memory we had from the corner flag up to about 30yds from the goal. Saying that we were every where as usual.
February 24, 20179 yr I have always associated Le coq sportif with our strips back in the early to mid 1980s. That and the Tour de France yellow jersey!

February 25, 20179 yr I was just flitting thru much speak on the pros and cons of what I considered the real shed 1968 to late 80s. Also the Headhunters. It is for me great experiences never to be relived, and exchanged for BEDHUNTING. Now get me in it

Both games I believe were a draw against Leicester and a loss to Oxford!! I don't think the fans would've bothered against Leicester if they had known Speedo was suspended and Kerry was out injured!!

February 26, 20179 yr it's not an old one but the first time I was down the bridge...it was easier to get tickets then

February 27, 20179 yr the old east stand was a lovely place at one time.there was the enablement to walk under it and I remember a couple of clubs coming from the northstand only to turn back in their stupid half attempt to enter the shed. The new east stand for me was an eyesore, but held great discos that saw fans n players integrate. Some of us would sneek put to run the hallowed turf. Kisses n cuddles in the shed too. Miss it all.
February 27, 20179 yr Re the discos, used to sneak on the pitch after quite a few beers and take pretend penalties, always at the Shed end
