But we were down to 10 men, unless we had two injuries (only 1 sub in those days), I just know I didn't realise we were playing with only 10 men for an hour or so, now thinking about it did Colin Lee and Kerry get injured? O'well I was just a dopey 16 yr old at the time ( now a stupid 47 yr old!) Here's a clip of the game. Canoville came on for Dixon. I can't remember Lee going off but my memory is a bit of a blur. Must be all the whisky I'v drunk.

Brings a tear to a silly old 54 year olds eye. My burning love of the Chelsea of yesteryear still smoulders on !!!

I'm down the front of the shed some where for this game, decked out in pale pink Lyle and Scott jumper and Chelsea ski hat!!! Ahh the 1980's
February 5, 20179 yr There used to be a Chelsea & Fulham Station right opposite the Ground on Wandon Road. Passengers would see a big sign "Alight here for Chelsea Football Club". It closed in 1940. http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/c/chelsea_fulham/

There were ideas suggested by uncle Ken to bring in fans by the east stand but it didn't go any where. Then they built the huge fence. Could have been a good thing, it's a bit of a walk from Imperial Wharlf.

In the first game of the season 2010-2011 (the first one after the World Cup in 2010) someone had a vu vul zela in the MHU, After playing it once, the chant went up: "you can stick your vu vul zela up your arse." And that was the last we heard it.
