Not sure it really means anything in particular. If they wanted him to stay they would have offered him a contract by now surely?

Still...that's 4 home knock-out games without a win now. Hope we set that straight soon :S

Actually I'm more inclined to take Anelka off than Drogba perhaps, he's been more disappointing this half. But then again Drogba and Torres tend to get in each others space... Hmm. Not sure.

He's very defensive though, we should be looking for a killer goal or two...and if Anelka and Drogba would stop wasting chances (another while i type) we might get it.

Another chance wasted... I'd bring Torres on for Drogba and McEachran for Mikel soon.

Good display tonight, though helped some what by their high line and poor defence. A goal should be coming, we've had the chances. Wouldn't surprise me if they went and scored though after all this

Terry to get England captaincy back
He should never have been dropped in the first place. I'm on the fence though about what he should do if offered it. He is a great leader and captain and part of me still wants him to be captain. But part of me also thinks he should tell Capello to f**k off and just retire from playing for England.

Chelsea v FC Copenhagen (CL) 16/03/11 KO 19:45 GMT
I'd like to see Josh start, but realistically he won't. Maybe if we had been massively ahead from the first leg, eg: 4 or 5. But at 2 he won't risk him until we have scored a few more goals.

I think Kalou probably deserves a start after his good sub appearance against Blackpool. And for me Drogba is showing signs of stroppyness and he's possibly not liking not being the only high profile striker, so I think another benching for him might knock a bit of perspective into him...hopefully.

Should be a comfortable progression to the next round, but you never know. One early goal from them and anything could happen, so hopefully we'll get the early goal and settle a few nerves. Would be great to see Torres get off the mark, this is probably his best chance so far, home game against a weak opposition, in theory we should win by 3 or 4. I'd go for something along the lines of: Cech Cole Terry Ivanovic Ferreira Ramires Essien Lampard Kalou Torres Anelka

Torres looks knackered, maybe he still needs more time and training to get back to full fitness.

Blackpool v Chelsea (PL) 07/03/11 KO 20:00 GMT
Half-Time thoughts: Overall We definitely need another goal, one isn't going to be enough. Started well, but since our goal we've gone off the boil and let Blackpool dictate the game. Very few chances as well, apart from the goal I don't remember their keeper having to make a save. Too many long balls. Must up the tempo and stop letting them play how they want. Defence Dodgy. We're doing well in the air and dealing with crosses, but we're still standing off players and letting them shoot. Plus in the 1-on-1 battles we are getting beaten a lot, especially Cole and Luiz on a few occasions. Midfield Seems to be non-existent after our goal. Ramires is playing quite centrally, quite is giving Bosingwa space to go forward which is ok, as he has done quite well. On the left though we've been poor. Zhirkov started well, but has gone very quiet and has been misplacing passes a lot. Although at least he is trying to run behind people unlike Malouda who just cuts inside. Attack Quiet and poor when called into action. Again, started quite well, but since our goal have done very little. Poor service to them doesn't help, but Drogba and Torres are mis-controlling the ball a lot and giving it away when we get it.

Doesn;'t look as bad as people are making out, just looks like a deep gash. Although it's a bit blurry the pic I suppose. Also: Ferguson refuses to speak to media after Liverpool game Sir Alex Ferguson refused to speak to media rights holders following the game at Liverpool on Sunday which Manchester United lost 3-1. The United manager did not speak to host broadcaster Sky Sports, radio rights holders TalkSport and the club's television channel MUTV. His assistant Mike Phelan did not carry out his usual post-match engagements with the BBC. The decision not to talk to the media was made before the game. Should any of the media organisations complain to the Premier League, the governing body would be forced to act. Ferguson has not given a post-match interview to the BBC since 2004 after a BBC Three documentary about his son Jason, who was then working as a football agent. The Premier League was due to discuss Ferguson's BBC boycott, which is in contravention of its rules, late last year, but if any fines were imposed for his non-compliance they have yet to be made public. However, it is believed no media organisation has ever lodged an official complaint over the issue. Ferguson cancelled his pre-game briefing on Friday in protest at the coverage given to his post-match quotes at Chelsea on Tuesday for which the Football Association charged him with improper conduct . His action was also prompted by the furore that surrounded Wayne Rooney's elbowing of Wigan's James McCarthy last weekend. Ferguson said he had "feared the worst" when referee Martin Atkinson was appointed for the game at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea, which United lost 2-1 after leading at half-time. He denies the charge and will have a personal hearing at a date no later than 25 March. The Scot also has two matches of a four-game ban from last season hanging over him after remarks about referee Alan Wiley. It is not yet known whether the media blackout will continue this week, ahead of United's FA Cup quarter-final with Arsenal, although discussions are bound to take place behind the scenes. However defender Rio Ferdinand, who was not at Anfield as he recovers from a calf injury, offered his opinion via Twitter. "Bad result today, no excuses," he said -- What a bad loser.

Alexis Sanchez?
That commentator is so f**king annoying. What is wrong with these foreign ones that they have to overreact so much to a goal...!?

Chelsea v Man United (PL) 01/03/11 KO 19:45 GMT
Don't really care what system we play as long as we win. But I still maintain that we should at least try a 3-5-2, as it plays to our strengths.
