Biggest factor is that last year teams knew our only real outlet was Hazard, so they could double/triple up on him. This year we have various other threats which mean its going to be much harder to mark him out of the game and shut us down all together. Could well set him up for a huge year.

It would certainly make me feel a lot more comfortable if we signed another striker. That said, we get an awful lot of goals from midfield so theres no doubt we will challenge anyway, we coped okay last season.

Well this looks like happening now doesn't it. Have to say im massively disappointed because he seemed very passionate about playing for us when he first signed and genuinely looked like he could turn out to be the real deal. The fact of the matter is, he's 21 and it would be a huge risk to give a 21 year old the responsibility of leading the line for a team challenging trophies, yet a free stab at being no.1 seems to be what he desires. If he had an extra year on his contract, there's no way we are selling him this summer, its as simple as that.

Hate this part of the year, the games being played give no clues towards next season as they're just for fitness at this point. Just need this season to start now!

Dilemma aside, how great is it that we have two of the top three keepers in world football right now. What an amazing problem to have.

No real concern in a 21 year old being quiet in a world cup quarter final after being superb for the four previous games. Don't think he was that bad either, showed some real signs of class up against probably the strongest midfield in the competition.

I'm sorry but what's wrong with having a bit of experience in the squad? We've just seen Frank and Ashley go, and if reports of Courtois are true then Petr could be going too. I for one don't want to see us turn into Arsenal and really don't see the problem with this transfer.

Interesting to see people make almost identical comments about Salah and Willian, yet score Salah higher. In all honesty I think Willian just needs time, whereas Salah just doesn't look up to it.

I can't see any reason as to why we should give up on the league, yes we've dropped silly points but so have everyone else. Liverpool still have to play us and City, and City haven't been the machine that people seem to make them out to be. Yes, I agree we're up against it but we've always seemed to revel in being the underdogs and chasing the leaders.

It depends what we want from the striker though. If we want someone to play on the last man, playing a natural winger/midfielder may not work because he will likely float back into the midfield.
