Claudio Ranieri was absolutely spot-on: Roman knows nothing about football. He will do anything to go after success without a thought for the fans or the club's culture or identity. Epitomised perfectly by the disgraceful treatment meted out to club legends (RDM and Lamps) who deserve better. Not to mention the appointment of a fraud as RDM's replacement who can alienate half the team, slag the fans off and turn in awful results and performances and still be worthy of the job purely because he's 'higher profile' than Robbie. Rant over, and yes I am grateful for the success he has brought us but I'm sick of the way this club is treated like a toy.

I'd much rather win the CL the way we won it last year than the way Barca won it the year before. Last year was a display of grit, will and determination. Things which make me proud to be a Chelsea fan. Yet somehow we 'got lucky' according to rival fans/media..

Arsenal fans also aimed a vile chant at Adebayor about the Angola shootings at the ACON. If CFC fans did that, we'd be castigated for it by the media for weeks on end.

Listening to the Beeb's radio commentary whilst I cram over this uni assignment. They keep referring to RDM's 1st minute goal in the 96 Final against Boro. Couldn't watch the game tonight, been checking the score on my iphone. Decent enough result, didn't sound like the best performance. I'd still happily pack FSW's bags and drive him to the airport of his choice just to see the back of him though.

Lukaku is a beast. Him and Demba Ba as a strike partnership next season would be quality. As for the Dippers, they've still got their history of course so they don't need to worry. It's also funny how some of the "best fans in the world" seemed to disappear from the match early, and relied on camera shutters to create their "famous atmosphere". Even the Emirates can do better than that!
