How would Lamps be viewed if he did go to United?
Would still be every bit as much a legend to me.

Euro Match Fixing
Interestingly, we weren't the only Ovrebo victims.. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/feb/19/champions-league-referee-tom-henning-ovrebo

Chelsea v Wigan Athletic (PL) 09/02/13 KO 15:00 GMT
I'm being optimistic - if we win, it's a much-needed 3 points and a confidence booster. If we lose, the FSW is either sacked or one step closer to the exit door. If we draw, the latter applies!

The Sun bribed police for dirt on JT's mother
Typical from the Sun. No class.

Hypocrisy ? Not much !
I always support England due to being English (well, half English at least!) - but the media and the fans who boo and abuse players, not just Chelsea players, get exactly what they deserve when we compete in the World Cup and Euro.

Lampard Staying at Chelsea!
About time! We're finally having some good news for a change. Think I'll wait till tomorrow before getting hammered though.

The Frank Lampard goal scoring record thread
Get off your high horse Roman and SIGN HIM UP. Another brilliant goal, and a great win for England. Any England fans boo him tonight?

What did you do when Drogba scored against Bayern?
I'm pretty sure the roof of the pub I was in hasn't been the same since that night.. When Didier scored the penno I went mental for ages, calmed down enough to watch the guys lift the trophy, then just broke down in tears of joy. One Di Matteo.

Travelling to Chelsea
Hey mate, I live in Wales too (at uni). If you're going by car I'd suggest parking at Swindon, catching the train into Paddington and then it's the District Line (coloured green) into Fulham Broadway. All the best :)

Influx of foreign players and owners survey
Just finished it mate, best of luck, again from a fellow student :)

Lukaku to Everton
I remember reading when he joined that he was a Chelsea fan. I think Josh is too. It'd be great to make use of the youth for this reason, you can guarantee they'll put in 100% for the shirt every time they play.

That I would pay good money to see.

Email to Bruce Buck from a fan
Haven't got a reply from either of them, not even an automated response. But we know the board places the fans low on its priorities, so not surprised. Wish nothing but bad on the pair of them for destroying our football club.

JT for interim player coach
I'd love to see it happen, but can't see it unfortunately. I'm resigned to the fact that we're going to be stuck with the Interim until the end of the season. If he hasn't done enough to warrant the sack already, what more does he have to do? I can't wait for this season to be over. Hopefully next season we'll have Jose back, Lamps will get his new deal and we will have one of the greatest seasons in the club's history.

Ditch the barca copycat. we are chelsea
I'd take an ugly 1-0 or 2-0 win over a pretty 3-2 loss any day.

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
Hope City win, we're not going to win the title and we don't want more competition for the CL places.

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
That'll be 3 points for the Sp*rs then, might as well have my Sunday lunch now

The Rafa Benitez Thread (merged)
So we have three brilliant managers (Jose, Carlo and RDM) all sacked for no reason whatsoever, yet we have him, now turning draw after draw into defeat after defeat, and he STILL isn't gone.. Great thinking, Roman.

The Club & Stewardship
I can't really speak against Buck. Ron Gourlay's treatment of managers in the past has been a disgrace. He sacked Ancelotti in the tunnel after the last game of 2010-11 at Everton. And RDM was sacked at 4 in the morning, and I doubt AVB received particularly favourable treatment when he was sacked. If he's going to swing the axe, he should at least do it with a bit of dignity. He embarrases the club greatly in this way. As for Emenalo, I've never understood the position of "technical directors", so to that extent I don't think he gives our club anything. He has about 6 apps for Notts County, is that really enough experience to judge what players should come and go at the club? As far as I'm concerned, that is something best left to the manager. This isn't a personal diatribe against Emenalo, but I just don't see the benefit in having someone on the club's board who shoves transfers and tactics down the manager's throat.

Newcastle v Chelsea (PL) 02/02/13 KO 15:00 GMT
Silver lining from today was that Mata was brilliant again. His attitude is superb every game. Oh and Howard Webb's performance was shocking today.

Will you feel any less disillusioned once Benitez is gone?
I agree, the Interim's departure, which is hopefully sooner rather than later, will only paper over cracks for me. The idea of a football club, averse to the opinions of the glory hunters who have now most likely abandoned the club (to return if/when we become successful again), is not winning trophy after trophy, it's about being part of an emotional community, almost like a family. Until I see some proper evidence that the board actually give a sh*t about the fans, I'll continue to have that horrible feeling of detachment. I'm furious that a man who held the club close to his heart, lived and breathed Chelsea Football Club was treated absolutely disgustingly in favour of a fraud who insulted the club's culture and values time after time in an attempt to win over the fans of that piece of utter filth from Merseyside.

Fabio Capello to the Rescue?
I'd take anyone over the clown we currently have. I'd even rather Steve Kean.

Email to Bruce Buck from a fan
I sent an email to them last night, no response yet.

Seb Coe please buy out Roman Abromovitch
I wouldn't be surprised if it is Ron Gourlay is whispering in Roman's ear to keep the Interim. It seemed to be him at the forefront of the disgusting treatment meted out to Robbie (and previous managers, including Carlo). I think just after the QPR defeat he then came out with classless sh*t in the Evening Standard saying that sacking Robbie was the right thing to do, probably wanting to save his own skin from negative PR because he knows he f**ked up big time. Probably too stupid to realise that kind of comment would only anger us further, which it did, when I read it I was f**king livid. Then again, he won't care about that as the board don't care about their "customers", just our gate money. I hope Roman sees him for what he is and sacks him. Time after time he's embarrassed the club, with the way he treats his people. He would gladly walk all over you to ensure he's paid handsomely.
