Malouda to Juventus

He should only be sold if the money is given to Scolari to spend or we do a player exchange. Irrespective of how poor he has been we can't afford to deplete the squad further other than a central midfielder, a right back or a centre half.

Juventus have made an enquiry for Malouda, maybe a bit risky to sell him with Joe's injury.

At last some good news. Now let's sell him pronto before they change their minds. And we should also tell UEFA we don't mind if he plays against us in the Champion's League games.

Quite odd rumor. Normally I'd be all for it but :

1.Since Joe is done for the season Malouda is our only recognized winger.

2.Makes no sense to lose the player mid season, especially on loan , especially to the club we're playing against in the CL a month from now.

3. Could have been different if we had a ready replacement coming in but a new player will need time to settle in anyway.

4.What is it with Italian clubs and their idea of using our players on a free?

P.S. Sorry, posted t in the wrong section. Should be in 'Rumors'.

As I said in the other thread, we should bite their hands off if this is true. I personally, will take a day off tomorrow to drive him to the airport. And on the way back I will pop into Birmingham to pick up Scott Sinclair.

there are already better options in the squad.

if his departure gives stoch and possibly kakuta a better chance to establish themselves then for me that would be reason enough.

because, even if they proved out of their depth, they'd be no worse than malouda, and would probably work harder.

worst case scenario- it's a different player frustrating us. that's no loss at all.

I would rather we promote Stoch and Kakuta and bench Malouda. Letting Malouda go without replacing hum would mean we play the second half of the season where our only options on the flank are a kid that has played 8 minutes and another who has never played. That isn't enough. Yes there is the option of bringing back Sinclair but I am trying to be realistic about this. I don't see Sinclair ever getting a run in our first team - I think he will be sold in the summer.

Loz i understand what you are saying but it is not beyond the realms of expectancy nor exaggeration to say that Hillario could provide more danger on the left than Malouda.

Normally i would not advocate getting rid of anyone without a replacement but i think he has been so bad, so utterley, utterley awful that it is, as other have said a total no brainer.

I also think he is very close to becoming a target of some very serious abuse from the the crowd - this is a situation that we could really do with avoiding so in that respect lets get this deal done.

Ideally before News At Ten.

If they are genuinely interested then we should go back to them, tell them they can sod off with any loan deal and state we want cash plus Sebastian Giovinco. Giovinco is not an established first team player yet but he would offer us something that we have lost in Joe COle and he till only 20 or 21.

i agree with what your sayin but I think Joe would be a revelation if he was played in the three in midfield alongside essien and lamps

Tell Raneri to pay up 10 Millions or shove it, screw the loan deal, those stupid days are over . At least I hope so.

Yup....we either need cash now to go buying, or keep him. No loan deals, thats just mad. Although if we're going to take it, we need a replacement set up to sign, before we complete, so we don't get held to ransom paying for some bit part player, who we're only signing due to having no one else in the squad, other than unproven kids.

I hope it doesn't happen this january. Who would we use instead of him on the left side? I have hard time believing Scolari would change to 4-4-2 all of a sudden. I think it is a bit too risky playing Kakuta or Stoch there so soon. Maybe we should try it though.

Although this is probably a sign of something better(for most here) as Malouda is linked to move away from Chelsea but I'm going to be among the first ones to say 'I told you so' when we replace him with some other winger and that player fails even worse(imo Malouda has been much more productive than he is given credit for). I just hate when people some people here just don't give any chance to some players.

According to the story Ranieri is looking a loan deal which would be the most insane move from our end since the old Sheva deal. Not only we lose one option from our attack we don't gain any money from the deal.

Just how many chances can one player have ? He has been shocking , consistentley.

Whoever comes into the side for him cannot offer any less, so we are not losing anything.

Get rid, and get rid now.

I think Malouda is very under-valued by Chelsea fans, but would also argue that I'd just as much like to see Stoch given a chance in the team as him, so I certainly wouldn't mind if we got a good price for him.

However! How many more players are we going to sell off without replacing?
