not again! I'll join, and while I care enough to make tranfers my side will do okay (top quarter I guess), then I'll get bored, the side will fall down the table and I'll claim a moral victory.

Whenever I join things like these I tend to be active for the first couple of rounds and then I just fade away. Maybe I'll have another go now and try to stay active this time. I mean, I know that as long as I stay active and do what I have to do I will win this quite easily :D

I just picked a default team last time, never logged in and wondered why I was at the bottom of the table!

You get 1 free transfer p/week, any over that cost 4 points each, you get 1 transfer wildcard, when used all transfers that week will be free of points reduction, so you can completley change your team if its sheet !

You can edit your team name after it has been created. If you have alook you can see that I have put my forum name in brackets after the team name. Maybe people can do that so they keep their team names but also make it wasy to identify who is who.

i'm in but i always make far too many transfers. i think i made over 100 last season and well over 100 the season before

That's not being useless, that's being admirably principled! Years ago, in a fantasy football league at work, I refused to pick Patrick Kluivert, as he's a rapist and a murderer (alledgedly, of course).

Some tips for those that need them....

Leave players with tough games on the bench, for instance, if you have any Hull players leave them on the bench on Aug 15th.

You have a squad of 15 players so you must tinker a little every week, use your subs including the keeper, also, imo it is best to keep using your 1 free transfer p/week, it keeps your team fresh and if you select players on form it should reap you rewards.

Dont be afraid of choosing a goalkeeper from a club lower in the league, they have lots of saves to make and are awarded bonuses for accumalated saves.

Rotate your captaincy bewteen 2 or 3 star players, remember double points for captains.

It should only take about 10-15 mins p/week to manage your team.
