September 25, 201213 yr Judging by the lack of response to my " do you remember the Six Million Dollar man" & make those "bionic" sounds in the playground questions above, makes me come to the following conclusions: A:Nobody remembers the "Six Million Dollar Man". B:Some people do remember it but didn't make "bionic" Noises in the playground. C:Some people do remember it & did make "bionic" sounds in the playground but don't want to admit to it. D:What the f**k are you talking about you f**kwit simpleton?. On a completely different point,I recently watched again, for the first time in years, the Stanley Kubrick film, Full Metal Jacket. For sure a film of two halfs, great in the first part with the new recruits going through their training, but completly loses it's way when the story moves on to Vietnam. Maybe I'm missing something, but I've yet to work out why that film seems so misjointed?. A. I remember the Six Million Dollar Man B. I didn't make bionic noises in the playground C. See above D. I wouldn't dream of calling you an F.S. E. I was more into Lee Majors than Lyndsey Wagner! F. Misjointed? Funnily enough I too watched Full Metal Jacket the other night and while I see what you mean about the second half of the film, it is a film purporting accurately to reflect the life of poor clueless GI's who haven't the faintest idea why they are in Vietnam. Life frequently is disjointed, especially that sort of life. Edited September 25, 201213 yr by moi
September 25, 201213 yr I can remember Six Million Dollar Man, although it's a bit before my time(apparently the last season was aired the year I was born), but there were re-runs of it and I've seen bits and pieces here and there. The same goes for Bionic Woman, so I never made bionic sounds on the playground. The first sci-fi television series I can remember watching was The Tripods, which is something I've meant to watch as an adult as my memories of it are quite hazy. The original V-miniseries was one of the early ones as well. Edited September 25, 201213 yr by Maksimov

September 25, 201213 yr I was scared witless of the Tripods, which says more about me than it does the program. As for BIONIC noises, hell yeah all the kids on our playground made them!
October 21, 201213 yr Was just listening to this song and was reminded about this. While I acknowledge it was pretty gimmicky, it totally worked for me. I miss this show.
October 21, 201213 yr Walking Dead and Dexter are seriously the two best shows on air right now, 2 new episodes tomorrow, cant wait! Anyone watched American horror story? supposed to be good but have not had time yet to give it a watch
October 22, 201213 yr At the moment I'm watching: Archer (rewatching it for the third time) The Walking Dead Prisoner Cell Block H (seen almost 70 episodes, only just over 600 to go) Glee (on a break, back in a couple of weeks I think) Dexter Once Upon A Time Grimm Sons of Anarchy Also watching a couple of swedish tv series called "Solsidan" and "Torka Aldrig Tårar Utan Handskar". The first one is really funny, the other is a lot more serious about when AIDS spread among the gays in the 80's. It's only three parts and the last one airs today (monday).

December 11, 201213 yr I've started re-watching Fishing With John, very strange yet funny series with probably my all-time favourite into-
January 9, 201313 yr I only just this week got round this week to watching the 'Band Of Brothers' series, and it was absolutely outstanding! It really makes you appreciate what the men went through in WWII, also on the same note it's worth mentioning 'The Pacific' is another outstanding war series.
January 10, 201313 yr If you want to appreciate what people went through during the 2nd World War, get the box set of "The World At War" - absolutely superb, and a true depiction of what really happened rather than the usual crap - i.e. the Yanks winning everything single-handedly.

April 5, 201313 yr Walking Dead viewers, can anyone tells me when does the opening scene occur when he kills that girl with doll in her hand? Surely rest that follows is flashback because he gets scared after finding woman eaten by walkers in hospital and he even refers to walker as man while talking to Morgan

Surely rest that follows is flashback because he gets scared after finding woman eaten by walkers in hospital and he even refers to walker as man while talking to Morgan It occurs later in the episode. I don't want to spoil anything for you, so just carry on watching.
April 5, 201313 yr It occurs later in the episode. I don't want to spoil anything for you, so just carry on watching. I saw all 3 seasons. I know there is similar scene later, but in the first scene there are loads of trucks and vehicles on road. In later scene when Rick goes to Atlanta, there is no vehicle when he looks out for gas.
May 4, 201313 yr Never seen Walking Dead but I am coming up to finishing all the TV series I like so wanting a few more... What's it about? Will I be scared? So far I'm up to date with CSI, CSI:NY, Bones, Boadwalk Empire, Law & Order SVU, The American Office... Need more shows. I've given all the other Law & Orders a go and I didn't like them, not keen on 24, seen all of Without a Trace & CSI: Miami, Criminal Minds is too farfetched and the lead character has put me off NCIS. Suggestions welcomed!
May 4, 201313 yr The Killing is pretty good, based on a danish show where they investigate the murder of a young girl. But if you haven't seen the Walking Dead you should, wont really be scary just a good story overall, season 1 is amazing. Breaking Bad and Dexter are 2 other shows which are awesome!
May 4, 201313 yr Breaking Bad is immense! The cliffhanger in the last episode...my god. I have never been so excited to see the next episode of anything, ever!
May 4, 201313 yr I suggest everyone needs to check out Suits. All my friends loved it. House og cards is great too
