It was between Alex, JT and Malouda for me today and I opted for Alex who didn't out a foot wrong the whole game. His performance, along with JTs, was why we got to half time at without being behind.

Malouda for me, even though he had a very quite period in the middle of the match.

Ballack deserves some consideration, since he made a big difference when he came in.

I didn't see whole match but I vote for Malouda.

Agree with loz that it was the defense who deserve most of the plaudits, and I went for JT who was a rock at the back, and it was his shot that set up the all important first goal.

malouda for me. capped another excellent performance with a brilliant finish to wrap up the game.

Alex MOTM.

The goal aside, I thought Malouda had his most ineffective game for quite awhile. Very low key. Cuellar handled him well.

Ballack did well when he came on.

Alex for me. Didn't put a foot wrong.

Alex and Terry played well throughout the entire game.

Malouda had a shocking first half but came into life in the last 20 minutes.

Lampard for me, defended brilliantly in the first haf. Took hold of the midfield in the second half for me and created 3 or 4 good chances. Took his goal very well.

Went for Alex, i thought he was easily our best player in a poor 1st half and was steady in the 2nd.

JT for me led from the back just shaded Alex.

Close call for me, I thought Malouda had a bit less impact than of late but still could have got the vote..JT Alex and Lamps all played well.

Drogba gets my vote for his second half performance before he went off, the goal and the way he got back and defended seemed to galvanise us a bit.

Ballack looked very good when he came on and put in a couple of superb crosses..

Alex for me too, with JT close behind, and Mikel also did well.

Our two CBs - Alex deserves to be our number 1 first choice pairing with JT, sorry Ricky. Went for JT.

A very comatose first half, that was kept alive by our back 4 and Cech! I don't think Cech put a foot wrong today either, and if he made a mistake in not catching young's attempted cross/shot, he made up for it in the ensuing corner by claiming the ball; it was almost remniscent of the "good ol' days!"

I think Malouda coming to life in the second half was the catalyst for our performance, as he'd been quiet beforehand. Show's how integral a part of the team he is.

Voted for Alex thought he was a rock today. Nods to JT and Cech who, I thought, was quite commanding.

Alex for me. He was the redeeming actor of the first half, and was an absolute rock all game. He handled Agbonlahor superbly. We have finally discovered our first choice pairing.

Alex. Honorable mentions to JT, Lamps and Cech.

Alex and JT for me we started slow today lucky to go in 0-0 at half time that was a penalty. played better in the second half well done :(

For me Alex, I'm perplexed though why Drogba was given the official one though. :o

Between JT and Alex, with Malouda close too. Went for JT, solid and crucial at the back as usual, and he also got an assist.

Cant disagree with Alex, he was superb, Drogs was excellent 2nd half and Malouda got more into the game as it went on.
