Random Rumours

Just seen a random rumour about Abubacarr Sedi Kinteh being tracked by a few top clubs, including us.

Another young defender, another “future project” it seems 😄

Feels like the usual Chelsea move these days — sign young, develop, and maybe sell later for profit. Not even sure if he’d come straight into the squad or just be another long-term investment.

Beware random rumours. Clickbait rules.

Blue co rumoured to have identified John Terry as interim manager if they remove Rosenior. Longer term they are admirers of Fabregas for the permanent role.

I love JT, but he has only experience as an assistant, years ago. But he would probably kick some of our players to pieces, that's something to look forward to.

Last summer when I was reading the FFP and PSR reports, I was anticipating Newcastle would find themselves in a position of selling in the summer of 2026 if they miss on UCL football. Same goes for Villa, but the chances they miss on UCL football are small.

Now I am reading the BBC report and indeed they will have to sell at least two star players if they finish outside the top five. Gordon, Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes and Livramento some of the names that Newcastle are ready to let go.

Now seeing the last reports on us and how Reece James and Cucurella were assured that the approach on transfers will be different this summer and the club will target PL proven players, I really hope we go for Gordon for a start. Tonali is another one I would ask for as there is a lot of noise around him leaving for some time now.

The reassurance is moot given the source, a clickbait twitter account. Gordon flatters to deceive, Santos and Lavia can do Tonali's job. Defence is the issue.

Pys is literally just reposting what other journalists say. The one in question was from NizaarKinsella, a well known BlueCo mouth piece.

Tosin and Garnacho were PL established players, so again what ever BlueCo says is just pointless as we already know their tricks.

Apparently the so called players with PL experience that BlueCo informed James and Cucurela of are Senesi and Van Hecke.

You just can't make this up, really...

I can believe Senesi is coming on a free.

Can see other free signings like Harry Wilson and Rodrigo Muniz. All are actually upgrades on this pathetic squad.

If there's any chance, and especially if we can get a decent fee for Gusto, Livramento should be brought home as a priority. He would be excellent cover either side at fullback James/Cucurella/Hato/Livramento/Acheampong is a very good quintet for a season, even with injury.

Gordon at his best is a very mediocre player similar to Neto, a player whose game seems to rely entirely on running around until the opposition makes a mistake. It comes off every now and then, but 30 games a season it is beyond useless. Tonali is Fernandez with a different set of problems, he lacks any sort of output but he is a great facilitator. Similar to Mateo Kovacic, he could either be the missing 'glue' in the right midfield or he could just make a lack of creativity/attacking output worse. I doubt Newcastle would let Guimaraes go to a PL team, but he would undoubtedly be a fantastic signing who despite being a DM would complement Caicedo really well and allow the team to play a genuine 4-2-3-1 pivot again, similar to Matic/Kante with Conte.

Nailed it.

Senesi I would welcome but balance wise he does very little to the team considering we lack aerial dominance everywhere.

Club has ruled out Senesi according the NizaarKinsella. They are looking for a more physical CB to be the ideal partner for Colwill.

The optimist in me is hoping this means either Murillo or Van Hecke. My head is telling me its another 20 year old.

Murillo is physical, good player. But only 6'.
