He was out with a knee injury.I don't know maybe it’s just me who always rated him highly since his first season at Brighton, but according to BordeuxBlue he's been doing extremely well for Strasbourg now that he's fully fit.He is still only 21, would rather they left him at Strasbourg for another 2-3 yrs and see if he adds some consistency.

Chelsea are one of the clubs in the running to signing him.Only we decided late on in the window we are happy with Emegha and willing to give him an opportunity. A disappointing end to the summer transfer window once again but at least we had some excitement along the way. And you never know Jamies' 17 year old cousin Jimmy Noebuy Gittens could turn out to be a superstar. He did score 3 goals in the U16s don't you know. All comes down to wages. He will rightfully demand at least £200k/w which they wouldn’t pay. Not even sure I would pay the £80m+ Atletico Madrid will demand. He had a brilliant 1st season, has been mild this season. 7 league goals and hasn’t scored in the league since Dec, though he has been lighting up the CL. Would rather keep Pedro as the No 9 and see if Delap kicks on in the 2nd half. Our problem upfront is our wingers.
February 13Feb 13 In an attempt to challenge established No. 1 Robert Sánchez, Chelsea are lining up a £50 million ($68.2 million) bid for Brighton & Hove Albion’s Bart Verbruggen. (Source: TEAMtalk)

February 13Feb 13 What are the thoughts on Igor Thiago? I really like him and I loved seeing him batter Arsenal's defence last night (aside from some of his finishing). That is what Delap was supposed to bring, but unfortunately we seem to have the Temu version of Delap.

February 16Feb 16 Liverpool and Chelsea looking at £50m (€57.5m / $68m) for Murillo [23] of Notts Forrest. Back in for Murillo – a bit short for a CB maybe? But then again the same height as Thiago Silva – and he worked out just fine. Brazilian lads already at the club and so he will feel at home and he will be 24 this summer and although a little old for us, not too ancient. Chelsea are apparently listening to offers for Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile and Trevoh Chalobah
February 16Feb 16 Rumours we tried for Bergvall of Spurs in January. Another nothing Gittens like waste of money. Only player I would bother Spurs for would be Van der Ven

He is our best CB currently, never injured and the most experienced. I see they conveniently left Fofana off the sales list because of his ridiculous contract and it’s length.

Spurs will also rightfully demand close to £50m, which for that fee requires a solid plan.I don’t even think he is what we need in midfield. What we lack is a midfield general in the mould of Guimaraes at Newcastle who will add some height and physicality in the middle of the park.

Fofana as much as I don’t really like the guy is a better player. If Trev was willing to be 3rd or 4th choice I’d keep him but he’ll want to play every week now and for that reason he will move on in the summer imo

More chances we sign the next Badiashile rather than the next Terry. I’d rather keep Trev until we know we have a couple of top centre backs that can stay fit. Even then I’d quite like to keep Trev even if it’s just as a backup.

The person who suggested Bergvall should be fired.
February 18Feb 18 Murillo is the profile the sporting directors appreciate. Only issue is that he's actually good, so thus means we will pump fake all summer until the player flat out rejects us and we'll say we have faith in our current options or sign someone ridiculously pointless. He's 100% gone when you consider they've been trying to sell him for ages. (albeit falling through with their brilliant bomb squad strategy). His departure will bare a little better knowing Badiashile, Tosin, and Disasi are gone too. Colwill/Murillo/Fofana/Sarr/Acheampong.

February 18Feb 18 The rumours are that it’s us and Liverpool that are looking at Murillo. Liverpool will be all over Van De Ven I reckon if he’s available so that might give us a clear run at Murillo.
February 18Feb 18 I’d MUCH rather have Van de Ven than Murillo but then again I’d MUCH rather have Murillo than 66% of our current options so…
