I don't know maybe it’s just me who always rated him highly since his first season at Brighton, but according to BordeuxBlue he's been doing extremely well for Strasbourg now that he's fully fit.

He is still only 21, would rather they left him at Strasbourg for another 2-3 yrs and see if he adds some consistency.

He was a shining light against PSG and has been great for quite a few games now.

Only we decided late on in the window we are happy with Emegha and willing to give him an opportunity. Would rather keep Pedro as the No 9 and see if Delap kicks on in the 2nd half. Our problem upfront is our wingers.

What are the thoughts on Igor Thiago? I really like him and I loved seeing him batter Arsenal's defence last night (aside from some of his finishing).

That is what Delap was supposed to bring, but unfortunately we seem to have the Temu version of Delap.

Good player but he's a Brentford-moneyball-esque type of player meaning he functions in a certain type of team playing a certain type of way.

 Liverpool and Chelsea looking at £50m (€57.5m / $68m) for Murillo [23] of Notts Forrest. 

Back in for Murillo – a bit short for a CB maybe? But then again the same height as Thiago Silva – and he worked out just fine. Brazilian lads already at the club and so he will feel at home and he will be 24 this summer and although a little old for us, not too ancient.

I wish they would just stop trying to hawk Chalobah around. He is our best CB currently, never injured and the most experienced. I see they conveniently left Fofana off the sales list because of his ridiculous contract and it’s length.

Actually rate him highly but he is another player at 20yr old that needs to be playing regularly not stuck on the bench. Spurs will also rightfully demand close to £50m, which for that fee requires a solid plan.

I don’t even think he is what we need in midfield. What we lack is a midfield general in the mould of Guimaraes at Newcastle who will add some height and physicality in the middle of the park.

Trev is limited. A good solid PL CB but he isn’t going to be elite. Fofana as much as I don’t really like the guy is a better player. If Trev was willing to be 3rd or 4th choice I’d keep him but he’ll want to play every week now and for that reason he will move on in the summer imo

The thing is we’ve had plenty of opportunities to find an upgrade for Trev but our special sporting directors keep failing consistently. More chances we sign the next Badiashile rather than the next Terry. I’d rather keep Trev until we know we have a couple of top centre backs that can stay fit. Even then I’d quite like to keep Trev even if it’s just as a backup.

Yes to Van der Ven, even better if we can get him after Spurs get relegated. The person who suggested Bergvall should be fired.

Murillo is the profile the sporting directors appreciate. Only issue is that he's actually good, so thus means we will pump fake all summer until the player flat out rejects us and we'll say we have faith in our current options or sign someone ridiculously pointless.

Not really. If Van der Ven goes to Liverpool it gives Tottenham a clear run at Murillo.

The club tried to get rid of him, you have fans not rating him yet he was a starter under Poch, starter under Maresca and now starter under Rosenior.
