Isn't Rico Henry out of contract too? Sell Cucurella while stock is relatively high and bring him in too. Can't imagine he'd demand the 175K we pay Cucurella either.

If we are selling Cucurella, Anthony Robinson is the only LB that springs to mind who I'd 100% replace him with.

No bomb squad anymore, just squad. Full of dead wood on long contracts and clubs all round the world having to sell even when they want to buy.

Even clubs like Barcelona are skint.

You really didn’t need a crystal ball to foresee a buyers market with the financial constraints in place and that unnecessary carpet buying young talent for top$ at this time might not be the way to go. Especially as those players often fail to be better than our own academy players.

So are you saying this super duper model is in the wrong place at the wrong time, well fancy that.😂

Spoken like someone who should be our next SD.

Thank you @Scott , I'm pleased you noticed my ability for spotting talent. Mind you, I'm not only very good at spotting suitable goalkeepers, but also at spotting incisive outfield players rampaging left and right.

Stones/Senesi + Gortezka both on a free.

Make it happen

Hell No! To both Stone and Goretzka. The former is an ageing injury prone CB, and the latter is a very slow midfielder who is better in the “10”. Bayern fans can’t wait to see the back of him.

Sadly true. Is Nathan Ake out of contract?

Bologna are concerned by Chelsea’s interest in winger Jonathan Rowe, who could be tempted by a return to England if the Blues make a bid of around $45 million (€38 million, £33 million). (Source: Gazzetta dello Sport)

great investment>another medium quality winger to warm the bench> give him minutes>cant sell him but could loan him out maybe> rinse and repeat.😐

If West Ham are relegated from the Premier League, Leeds United expect to move to the front of the queue to sign Chelsea center back Axel Disasi after his impressive loan spell with the Hammers. (Source: Football Insider)

never expected to see the words Disasi and Queue in the same sentence😂

Chelsea are looking to sign AC Milan center back Strahinja Pavlović. While Milan do not want to sell, the Blues could try and use their interest in French defender Benoît Badiashile to their advantage. (Source: Calciomercato

same comment for Badiashile and advantage.

Disasi has been good for WH, he wasn't the worst of our paltry Badiashile-led lot. Mavropanos improved out of sight with Disasi beside him.

3 goals and 2 assists in the Serie A in 26 games? Sign him up!

At 23 he is a bit old though... Slight worry.

Jacobo Ramón is the latest young CB we are interested in. He is very fast - Very fast for a big lad. He's 6ft5". He is 21. Ramón joined Como from from Real Madrid for €2.5 million, with Madrid retaining a 50% sell-on clause and three unknown buy-back clauses. Real Madrid are not sure IF they want to buy him back. So, he Could be just the hyper-complicated deal we are looking for and So what ridiculous price will BlueCo. be offering for the lad? start the bidding around €30 million maybe? Get into a bidding war with ourselves and win that bidding war and sign the lad before we get a new manager.

It is about time we bought a very young and very expensive winger. . . .Yan Diomande (19) from the Côte d'Ivoire. How much? Well, why not, all things considered, shall we say £80m? Maybe RB Leipzig would want to do a swap? Garnacho? Gittens? Mudryck? All 3 of them?

Fantastic player tbf.

Buying Gittens looks more and more stupid.

Xabi Alonso’s first port of call as Chelsea manager in the transfer window will be experienced signings. The Spanish boss is expected to push for the “readymade” addition of Sunderland’s Robin Roefs as part of a summer rebuild. (Source: The Sun)
