What makes you think Cuenca is going to be massive? One position Barcelona dont seem to develop is striker. Before people say Messi hes not a target man hes a winger. Barca have had Zlatan, Eto'o, Kluivert, Rivaldo and without Googling cant think of any others in recent history. The player who was going to be special was a fella called Bojan Krkic an hes benchwarming AS Romas bench if am not mistaken

i dont watch portuguese football, but in this seasons champions league hulk hes been painfully average. maybe he wants to go elsewhere so hes saving himself but judging by this season alone hes literally no better than kevin de bruyne

Porto want about £85m for Hulk though, so let's just brush that one under the carpet right now.

What we are crying out for is a good creative central midfielder (Cough..McEachran..Cough) and 2 quality..fast..tricky wingers. All our width comes from our fullbacks, leaving us exposed at the back on the counter attack, but no-one in the coaching staff seems to see it or care about it.

If we played with two slightly more defensive midfielders, then we could give free roaming to the creative one, being backed up by wingers on either side who are actually willing to run at people.

E.g.:

--Sturridge-----------------------Hazard (Or similar)

-------------------Torres

That way we could continue to play AVB's high line, but with our full backs not so far forward we would have more cover. I really don't like playing with attacking fullbacks as our main source of width and attack, it pisses me off. We were so much better in the days of Robben, Duff and Cole, when the fullbacks rarely crossed the halfway line. We scored loads and hardly conceded, it's not rocket science.

Hazard is linked to Real Madrid , according to Belgian Paper Madrid is the place he wants to be.Also Zidane wants him badly.

He's just one of many names we could buy for that wing position. There's that Goetze people are obsessed with as well.

From the players i know I would follow Mertens (PSV) 12 goals and 13 assists this season.

Average player, just like Merieles. No point filling the squad with average players just to build up the numbers, it's just more people who will get games ahead of the youngsters, who will then eventually leave I suspect.

Can't see Real letting him go until the summer at the very earliest, they could still have a fantastic season.

Higuain has 12 goals in 7 starts in the league (8 sub appearances) and is their second top scorer behind Cronaldo; I can't see them selling him.
