Such a shame he made the wrong move when he chose to return to United. He had it all to become a midfield great and still be at the very top even today.

For me, Pogba is the most talented midfielder that we never got the chance to watch him during his absolute prime and it truly is a great shame because his ceiling was ten times higher than some others who today are remembered as midfield greats.

He got into the wrong club that lets him do anything and hung around a circle that's not pushing him to be the best.

Look at Palmer, guy only plays football, no fancy haircuts, no stupid dances, no dumb tiktoks or whatever

If Real Madrid come calling for Palmer I would guess it will be an initial offer of 100 - 150mill. Boehly and co.will be expecting this and will hopefully advise them politely that everyone has a price but Coles is closer to 300 - 350 million.

Can't believe Boehly and co will miss this opportunity to turn commercial matters in the right direction.

Saw Jonathan Tah these past couple matches (Bayern,Pauli) and thought he was very good. Solves that RCB issue very well and a cool head next to Colwill. 

Maybe strike a deal to get him in January. Send one of the Monaco chuckle brothers the other way.

The club have been tracking him and Tapsoba for years now, and Tah is definitely one of if not the best defender in the Bundesliga right now. Would be a great signing at a good age.

Been watching Vlahovic tonight on and off whilst also watching our women. He is surprisingly quick and nimble on his feet for a big guy. Looks mobile and accomplished and joins up play quite well wit the midfield and wide players.

So i looked at his injury record on Transfermarkt and 22/23 is starting to look a bit of an outlier as his record doesn't seem dramatically different than any other player.

Just saying!

Aside the fact I lost all trust in modern day Serie A footballers being able reciprocate their quality in the Premier League, Vlahovic isn’t really that box presence we desperately need as it’s the only area where we really lack goals from.

We do, but his name is Viktor Gyokeres. Vlahovic isn't going to be available for much cheaper (if at all cheaper) than Gyokeres, and we need a striker who is better than Jackson not just competition.

I would much rather Gyokeres but I kind of think that we may well try to soften the blow with a player going the other way and Juventus may seem more appealing to a player like Mudryk, for example,  than Sporting would.

Yep, exactly what I was thinking. Immediately upgrades on Badiashile and gives Fofana time to recover and even learn from.

We aren't getting Gyorkeres. It's clear the directors rate Jackson and want someone that at most competes with him.

Bit of a no brainer, though I feel for Ipswich (as a local) as they are struggling as it is.

I think he would be an excellent signing, has all the attributes of a to class striker, will fit seamlessly into the squad we have as he is the same demographic pretty much, known by the coaching staff and some player.

Alongside Lavia we should maybe go after Rogers at Villa too 😆

If you take out the youth and PL stuff and just look at senior football it looks like 84 games and 18 goals.

Granted his record at Ipswich shows that he is either developing or is just in a purple patch, but didn't the sporting directors say that they were now targeting strategic signings now that the squad rebuild has occurred? I am not saying i don't like the lad but i am not sure if he is the genuine elite striker that people have been talking about.

No one said Delap was an elite striker. Rather his profile is what we currently lack in an attacking sense, and the fact his age and history would mesh well with our current group. The latter being very important. 

 

 

Delap would be the perfect fit for this squad and I’d genuinely feel capable of a title push next season with him leading the line. 

How much would Delap cost? 35m if so possibly a better option than all these 75 -100 mill risky strikers we have been linked with.

If hes 75m i'll get back in my box.😂
