We have too many players that if a quality experienced players somehow becomes available we have no room.

Or we just have enough central midfielders and don’t need a soon to be 34 year old who would top our wage structure

August 30, 20241 yr Obscure striker picked at random out of a hat written on a fortune cookie has just been seen pulling into the Chelsea car park. cross live now to our man loitering with intent outside stamford bridge...
September 7, 20241 yr Jonathan Tah leaving in a free at the end of the season, would be better than either of the brothers of destruction and he’s free. What more could Clearlake want?

Only time I've ever been on the hallowed turf. Kenny Swain and Gary Stanley were almost telepathic at times. Was shocked when Swain was switched to LB by Villa but he was really good at it. Pre crab Butch scored 13 goals that season. Memories. 🙂 Edited September 12, 20241 yr by OhForAGreavsie

Pretty sure that I had an Iain Britton picture in there at the same time. I kept a scrapbook of that season with clips of reports and photos from each game. There was a match early in the season where the headline of one report the next day was "Chelsea Champions". I cut that out and pasted it on the cover. Didn't work out the end. Bloody Wolves. December 9, 20241 yr Nothing on this, just my thoughts. If Pogba was 3-4 years younger, I'd have taken him on a free and get him ready for next season. Probably my no. 1 player on the "what if" list. Such a shame he made the wrong move when he chose to return to United. He had it all to become a midfield great and still be at the very top even today. For me, Pogba is the most talented midfielder that we never got the chance to watch him during his absolute prime and it truly is a great shame because his ceiling was ten times higher than some others who today are remembered as midfield greats.
