Exactly, one good season after a fairly nomadic existence and mostly average scoring record doesnt really scream "great signing" does it.

Based on what, exactly? Falcao's season in Spain was more impressive than Huntelaar's season in Germany in my opinion. Tougher league and he was younger. Falcao's undeniably more physically talented as well.

For my two cents I would say that without the Drogba safety net, and with no viable replacement, it is hard to argue we should sell. But then again getting 175k/week off the wage bill would be a tempting option.

I read today that Juve have offered us 30 million for Torres. I would have snapped their hands off had Drogba stayed but now we actually need and and just prey that he can start doing his job properly.

Pirlo is too old now, shame we didn't get him when Carlo wanted him. I would take it at 40m & go & buy Cavani or Falcao. Thats not going to happen though.

Roman will never countenance selling torres. He is his joy and the way he was jumping up and down the day torres scored his first hatrick for us shows his love for the lad. all his summer acquisitions, hazard, marin, etc are all gearing towards making torres a success. in my on thinking, no man builds an expensive garage for his car and sells the car immediately expect a crazy thing happens.
