True to my word, here's a picture of the shirt you won: Thank you. Will add it to my collection of t-shirts. 10 hours ago, bluehaze said: No it was Embassy Regal I smoked everything as a kid especially when buying singles Lambert and Butler, Peter Stuyvesant, 555 etc but never Regal all bloody horrible. Thank you. I'm hopeless at identifying cigarette packets, probably from having never smoked. When I was a kid, my Dad said to me that when I turned 21 he would give me £100 if I didn't smoke. A lot of money when I was a kid. My Dad started smoking when he did his National Service with the Royal Engineers. Cigarettes were cheap in the army stores. My Dad would send me to the Newsagent to buy his cigarettes. A packet of ten was 13p. Different times.

October 22, 20187 yr Having a look back to 1966/67 (makes a change from 1983/84, I suppose) ! Away to Forest away on Tuesday 30th August and it looks like our first ever competitive used substitute was as follows. Peter Houseman on for Charlie Cooke in the 84th minute of that match . He was also our first competitively used substitute at The Bridge on Wed 14th Sept in the League Cup 2nd Round Match v Charlton. He came on for Peter Osgood in the 20th minute and he also scored in the 77th minute. So was our first scoring substitute too. Edited October 22, 20187 yr by erskblue
October 22, 20187 yr Just brings back so many memories the loudest I ever heard the Shed was queueing up against Liverpool in 82. The sound of Hello Hello Shankley is dead Shankley is dead was really loud and aggressive and this was an hour before kick off.
October 22, 20187 yr Looking at the above picture I have never seen or ever remember that flag pole ? ! Am I having a memory loss moment !?

There would be a million tweets from self pity city if that was sung these days.

What observers of the modern game don’t get is that anything would be sung to wind up the opposition players or fans, and it didn’t mean a lot. Black humour, tongue in cheek, all for a laugh etc. When we have “ Chelsea Rent Boys” sung at us, is anyone really offended? Unless your actually a rent boy that is.....
