Our support can't be totally pinned down to specific areas and never could really. despite obvious strongholds like wandsworth battersea and pimlico. We always had fans dotted about well into the home counties. Hickeys mob were from Tunbridge wells, there were big contingents from Slough, Camberley, Kingston. Myself I used to get the train up from Orpington and Bromley and there were always plenty of others using that line. Yeah Bromley south and Beckenham junction when I was a younger!!

September 14, 20187 yr That is a proper photo CB. Apparantly they gave the Maltzers a going over in 82. According to the papers ( load of bollox), they put the windows in and climbed through them. Why didn’t they just use the door. Edited September 14, 20187 yr by Ewell CFC

Got locked out me and a couple of mates got caught trying to bunk into the home end by climbing the fence. We were halfway up the fence when a load of Chelsea started cheering which alerted the old bill. There was a big gippo site by the ground there was a stand off with them they said you ain't coming through they were cockneys not Irish and tooled up so we left it !.
September 14, 20187 yr That pikey camp is still there. Only time I bunked In was the 2001 Cup final v Villa- squeezed in the turnstile with me mate- we all shuffled up on the seats a bit but some bloke got the hump and reported me to a steward about 10 minutes into the game and got escorted out. A lot a seat sharing used to go on in Gate 13 Talking of do what you likeys, anyone noticed in between Clapham Junction and Victoria the small gypsy camp next to the scaffolding yard? ( Culvert Rd Battersea). There’s a wooden hut thing covered in Chelsea posters and flags- the yard is owned by mates of mine the Mills family- big CFC fans- they kip in the hut which is about 10 feet from the railway tracks when they’re in town. Oddly enough it was one the family I bunked through the turnstiles with. Edited September 14, 20187 yr by Ewell CFC
September 14, 20187 yr Arsenal 0-5 Chelsea, From the League Cup back in 1998 Always worth a watch this game. Enjoy !
September 14, 20187 yr Chelsea 3-1 Arsenal, League Cup 1998 (Vialli's first game in charge) Gianluca Vialli faced a tough task in his first game as Chelsea player-manager. To reach the League Cup final, his side had to overturn a 2-1 deficit from the first leg of their semi-final with Arsenal, a team that were on a 12-match unbeaten run. It was a game that saw nine bookings, one red card and four goals, including one wonder strike by Roberto Di Matteo. Brian Moore is the commentator. Another to enjoy.
