Any game recommendation?

I'll be laughed at for this, but I think (for PC players with a decent rig), the original Skyrim might be the better game.

My reasoning being that there were so many amazing, high quality mods released for the original Skyrim. While the special edition has mods too. The player base is less now and it's unlikely the special edition will end up with as many quality mods as the original.

The majority of the better PC mods are on Xbox thankfully, it's made the game even better in my opinion.

Having a blast on Skyrim. It's like greeting an old friend you haven't seen for 5 years, but only feeling like you last saw them five days ago.

The best thing about the Special Edition is NO LOADING TIMES. I remember going into Dragonreach in Whiterun for example on the original version...you could start and finish a novel by the time it had loaded. Now it's about 3-4 seconds.

Graphics are better, but not by leaps and bounds. It's still a beautiful game though. I haven't experimented with mods yet, not really interested. I've been sucked in by the side quests, clearing out caves full of bandits, etc.

Started a game on the old version, since I never finished it before. Started as a Redguard. Think I'm going to focus on archery and magic.

I have started as a Dark Elf. I've focused on those two aspects too.

To join the nerd party, I too am playing as a dark elf focusing on archery and sneak.

Not really dabbled with the smithing yet, I'll probably invest into that quite heavily once I'm a good few hours in. Trying to save enough gold to buy a house so that I have somewhere I can stash lots of crafting materials.

Killed a mammoth at level 5 yesterday.

I never understood the smithing or alchemy, etc... with the amount of time it takes to get all the resources to make things, isn't it just much easier to buy the end product or find it? There's not exactly a shortage of stuff to find.

The thing is, you can't just "find" Dragon Plate armour, not that I know of anyway.

Yay party is in full swing!

What did you focus on in your first playthrough, and who were you?

So when the game originally came out I wasn't overly in to it, I preferred playing online shooters like Call of Duty.

I pretty much rushed through the main story and did little exploration, didn't invest into the shouts and just had, I think, an orc tank build so basically just hack and slashed my way through.

This time I plan to invest a lot more playing time, explore the side quests, get better at smithing, dabble with magic etc.

I'm almost playing for the first time really so I should get plenty of legs out of the game.

Ahhh no way! You're in for a treat.

The main questline isn't that gripping but make sure you at least do it up to the "Bleak Falls Barrow"  quest to develop your shout a bit.

Next up I'm heading to the College of Winterhold to improve my magicka and learn new spells. Then to the Dark Brotherhood to become a paid assassin! It's all about the side-quests and joining Guilds.

I did the elf sneaky/archer thing on the original game, so I`m playing a Nord battlemage this time.

Seems thge Imperials and the Stormcloaks both want me to join. Neither side has explained to me why I should join them though.

The Stormcloaks are the rebellion against the Empire, join them if you resent the fact that at the beginning of the game, the Imperials tried to have you beheaded for no apparent reason.

What's everyone's weapons of choice, I'm currently wielding a mace in one hand and flames on the other.

Oh and make sure you install the forbidden city mod, it's a superb full quest.

Snap! I'm spending my skill points on developing my flames, one-handed and archery.

I'll keep a look out for that mod, cheers dickewwaaaa

Absolutely loving Conquest on BF1, never played it before but it's so much fun with the amount of players and planes, tanks etc.

Incredible. Best online shooter I've ever played.

It is pretty awesome, easily best battlefield of all time.

I have a fondness for Operations myself. I think the best map on the game is Sinai, how about you?

Yeah Siani is good. I like the 2 mountain ones. I really like that it's set up to be a team game and they've lowered the emphasis on kill to death ratios. I earned 8k points playing as a medic and killed one person.

Are you playing this on Xbox or PS3/4?
