Any game recommendation?

I've played both the new tomb raider and bioshock infinite to completion.

Both are excellent games. Hard to separate as to which is better. Depends on your style as to which suits better.

I finally bit the bullet and bought minecraft....I figured, 25 bucks, why the hell not...

I like it :/

You're about a year behind the hype but better late than never! Immense game with infinite possibilities!

The story of Bioshock Infinite completely sucked me in, one of the games of the year, definitely!

I know...but I figured, this game looks a little underwhelming...

But they you start playing.

I'm thinking of snapping up the Hitman HD trilogy, it's on sale at the moment, only about £16 so an absolute bargain.

It's been years since I've played the old games so it would be fun to revisit them, I steered clear of Absolution as all of the reviews pilloried it for departing from the traditional Hitman formula.

Well that is definitely true. They've changed so much from the older games it's incredible. It's become far more rigid and story-based now, I think this was the result of IO trying to appeal to a more modern audience. I barely picked it up again after I finished it. I own Blood Money and have played Silent Assassin and they're both far better IMO.

I'm about 3 hours into bioshock, it's bloody amazing so far.

Having completed it i'd say the earlier hours of the game are the best overall. There's a great final battle though!

School's off for two weeks now so I'll have plenty of spare time and am thinking of buying Dishonored. I'll watch some of the reviews and all, but anyone here with any opinions on it? Is it a particularly long game?

It's about 15 hours. I enjoyed it very much. You can go through the whole game without killing a single person if you want.

There are many ways to go about missions, thanks to different path ways and your powers. The more people you kill, the more rats spawn in the city and the darker the outcome of the game will be.

I silently took down most of the people in the game, however some people just had to be murdered. It's got a great art style and it;s rather dark in places. I'd recommend it!

Dishonored is great. I haven't finished it but I've used the tact of just brutalizing everyone in my path. I'm sure my ending will be grim. I'd recommend it as well.

I've been playing some Diablo 3 again. I'm not level 60 yet, but I did get a legendary quiver for my demon hunter for only 5500g. I'm stoked. I'm hoping to score the Manticore (legendary 2h crossbow) for pretty cheap as well and it'll give me a reason to finish Hell and get to level 60.

Yeah, I saw it at a local store earlier today, I'll probably pick it up next week.

You should probably sort your life out then, Zeta. What games were they?

Far Cry 3 and Dark Souls.

Both still in their plastic wrapping.

Good lord! Neither of them are 'short' games either! I have Far Cry 3, i absolutely loved it. So much to do and explore.

GRID 2 out next month, would highly recommend it if you like racing games.

What platform?

^ Cheers.

Of course, I'm full in on Diablo 3 still. I just hit Paragon level 1 and I'm determined to finish Inferno... Which is much easier with 100k dps. Got to love playing the auction house for cheap legendary items.

Dark Souls.

Dark souls is a brilliant game well worth playing. It's a brutal game but not quite as hard as it's hyped out to be (save for a couple of difficulty spikes).

Only words of non-spoilerly advice : don't put points in resistance (it's worthless) and if you're seeing giant skeletons near the start of the game, you don't want to go that way until later (unless you enjoy having an incredibly tough time).

Indeed, I will be buying it tomorrow (Hitman: Trilogy that is). I look forward to playing the second and third games, have barely ever played them before.

The new Dead Island game came out today! If you havent played the first one i really suggest you buy it.

Your character save data from the first carries over onto the new one too!
