I posted my thoughts on Dragon Age a couple of pages back. basically I thoguht it was sh*t.

I don't know if anyone is in to the Dragon Age games but what does anyone think of the new one? Personally I think it's going to be bad, even though it looks fancy and all but it kinda looks like what you see is what you get, it seems they have went down the fable route to with ridiculous fighting and animation in general like they did with the 2nd one.

 

Ah well that's a shame, I guess I'll just wait on Mass Effect 4 from Bioware instead.

 

Dragon Age 2 destroyed my faith in the series.

 

Don't care what anyone says, DA: Origins was incredible.

Destiny is great, a mix of Halo and mass effect in a way.

Yeah, though I think its out a few weeks after the console version.

Played the Destiny Beta, got too scared to go past the start where it's all dark and you are running away from the fallen. One of them jumped out from the ceiling or something and I was like "nope" and dashboarded it.

 

Looks like a great game though, just won't be playing it on my own.

I actually really liked DA2 (story wasn't as great but you can't get everything right) so if it's anything like that then I'll probably enjoy it.

Had a go on destiny beta last night, really enjoyed it. But I'm a big halo fan and it is basically halo with a suit on.

 

Just downloading the Beta now. I never realised that it was made by Bungie and I loved Halo so well up for this!

Noticed they released the original Mass Effect on PS3 a year or two ago. Have played 2 and 3 several times each, might have to download the first and start a new Shepard, maybe female this time.

So The Last of Us: Remastered is out for PS4 tomorrow. It has received rave reviews, mostly about how it runs perfectly in 1080p at 60 fps.

 

Should I buy it? Whenever someone says "its the best game ever made" that puts me off slightly, but I don't want to miss out.

It's not the best game ever made. But it's a very good game.

Tried Dragon Age Origins one last time yesterday, tried it on the PS3 instead of the PC and it's a bit easier to handle, the controls aren't quite as bad, so will sell my PC version and give the PS3 one a longer go, as a Dwarf this time.

Started playing Guild Wars 2 last few days. 

 

I always like the idea of these massive MMORPG games where you can make a unique character and fight and cast spells and stuff, but I've never had the enthusiasm to stick with them very long. This one does seem interesting though, so will give it a reasonable try and see how I enjoy it.

Battle system looks the same as DA2? It's got some extra bits to it but it's pretty much the same.

 

Not that there's anything wrong with that mind you.

Can't wait for some new games to come out for the Xbox One now. Titanfall was fun while it lasted but hasn't got longevity. The only reason I still own CoD: Ghosts is because I want to get the achievements on the last DLC pack seeing as though I own the season pass. Forza is enjoyable but I don't want to burn myself out on the game.

It's times like this when I regret trading FIFA 14 in after getting 1000G...

Try the free indie games mate. Max is excellent, as is guacamelee.

I played it enough to get the mount for WoW and then didn't play it much more after that. Was fun, just not the type I can stick with long-term.

Just completed Watchdogs. Quite impressed by the ending, very dramatic. Though the whole story does seem short given there's only 4 chapters.

Gonna trade it in for Last of Us.
