They'll iron out most of the issues.Screens of the game have been doing the rounds for weeks, they don't look much different from that one.Check it out for yourself. Also people said the same with BF4, that was a mess for a good few months before the issues were fixed. EA have previous for it Edited March 9, 201511 yr by Chelsbear
March 9, 201511 yr They'll iron out most of the issues. It's taken them 18 months to fix the issues from their last game, which for a long time was considered broken. Dice have since admitted the game wasn't ready but EA pressured them into releasing it on time instead of delaying it to give them time to get it right. A lot of people think Hardline looks like a glorified mod for BF4 and I don't think the game is going to sell very well. It's early days yet for the new consoles but I'm not sure online only games are the way forward.

I played Battlefield 2 (and 2142) to quite a high standard for hundreds of hours in the mid 2000s but then Battlefield 3 came out and it never felt right. Dumbed down (presumably to appeal to the console COD demographic), full of bugs (I'm guessing EA rushed the release...) and most of the people I was gaming with before (who actually knew how to function as a team rather than padding their own stats or chasing achievements) became disillusioned and drifted away to other games. Nothing I'm hearing about Hardline surprises me in the slightest.

I've started playing B4 and its a huge, huge step up, with not much comparison in my opinion.
March 9, 201511 yr The modern day bits of AC are the most boring things ever. Maybe its just me because I haven't played past ones so have nothing invested in the story but I'm perfectly happy being told I'm a pirate assassin, rather than someone's memory or whatever it is.
March 9, 201511 yr 12 hours into Dying Light now and really enjoying it. Got some stronger weapons now and so I'm not having to avoid the zombies as much. Very fun game, pleasantly surprised by it. Yeah I'm really enjoying it as well. The missions are varied and interesting. How do you get better weapons? I've learned how to lock pick so I'm picking up baseball bats, cricket bars etc which are pretty good. when do you start getting guns or the proper good weapons?
March 9, 201511 yr Chelsbear what are you playing on I was playing on ps4 and the graphics look a lot better than that.

I've learned how to lock pick so I'm picking up baseball bats, cricket bars etc which are pretty good. when do you start getting guns or the proper good weapons? I've done a few side quests and found blueprints for decent weapons along the way but you have to make sure to constantly scavenge for parts when playing. I've just done another of the story mission last night and found that the weapon drops were for weapons that deal much higher damage, averaging out at 120 damage. Got some guns but I don't like using them because the noise draws swarms of zombies.

Have you done the Misson with Gazu, the crazy guy? Took me ages to find the entrance to his rooftop. I'm also finding it hard to kill the rebel guys without strong weapons.

Took me ages to find the entrance to his rooftop. I'm also finding it hard to kill the rebel guys without strong weapons. Guza the one where you have to get chocolates and a video for him? Yeah getting in through his roof was tough. Early on I avoided fighting humans, it's best to have unlocked a few abilities first. The air drops aren't too important, more checking all the cabinets, cupboards, boxes etc for the parts like blades, string, alcohol because they're what you need to craft weapons which have fire, toxic, bleed elements on them. Exploding throwing stars are good fun when you learn to craft those!
March 10, 201511 yr I've just learned how to craft exploding stars. Also learned freezing stars. Great game though, one of my favourites on the PS4 so far.
March 10, 201511 yr Dying light. The ending was so annoying. YOu spend all game being so free to run and jump and climb whatever you want and they end it with Quick Time Events. GRRRR
March 10, 201511 yr Chelsbear what are you playing on I was playing on ps4 and the graphics look a lot better than that. PS4. It's no upgrade at all on BF4 and is actually the exact same resoluton wise : XO: 720p PS4: 900p That's pretty poor IMO. Not that visuals are everything though but with the beta it seemed to be suffering from the exact same things BF4 was when that was beta too. This will bomb IMO.
March 10, 201511 yr Xbox store got a few nice deals at the moment. Dragon Age Inquisition £32.99 (£45 on Amazon) Murdered: Soul Suspect £10.56 Ryse: Legendary Edition £26.99 (much cheaper than anywhere else) Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition £10.56 Zombie Army Trilogy £31.99 Thinking about getting Ryse and Dragon Age. What's the difference between legendary and normal editions of Ryse? It seems like a good game and I wanted it anyway so might go for it. Any of the other games good? March 10, 201511 yr I'm looking for a new game too. Haven't seen anything that takes my fancy though. Think there's some new FarCry DLC to get stuck into...
March 12, 201511 yr Hotline Miami 2 came out yesterday, due to our match I didn't play it until this morning on the train into work on my Vita. In the 30 minutes or so I played, it seems to be a bit more story driven this time around, lots more characters too. Soundtrack once again is awesome so far. Can't be 100% sure yet but the game seems to invite the use of guns a lot more this time, not sure that's something I like but it might just be the early levels. Aside from that, it's basically more of the same which is a good thing. Very enjoyable and well worth the £10.

I'd highly recommend Tomb Raider. I was never into the TR games before really, thought they were a bit clunky. But when the latest one came out it got rave reviews so I bought it. I'd definitely recommend it. Superb graphics, great gameplay
March 14, 201511 yr I'm looking for a new game too. Haven't seen anything that takes my fancy though. Think there's some new FarCry DLC to get stuck into... Let me know how you find it. I've never paid for DLC but Far Cry 4 is certainly a game where I'd consider it.
March 15, 201511 yr I find I get bored of games a lot nowadays and rarely finish them, Played Skyrim for about 20-30 hours on Steam and got bored. Played Shadow of Morder for about 5 hours and got bored. Played Evolve for about 8 hours and got bored. Back in my teens I could play through games easily, but I just can't be arsed any more. I have such a short attention span, always looking for something else more interesting. Edited March 15, 201511 yr by Zeta Orionis

I know Skyrim is a huge game but most games are finished by 30 hours, even big ish ones like Far Cry 4 which I did in around 24, completing most of the side stuff. Shadow of Mordor is meant to be quite repetitive as well. I'm sure you'll find something with replay value. FIFA or a shooter?
March 16, 201511 yr I think I'm going to stop buying FIFA all together now. Every single time I buy it, I play it for about 2 months, sometimes less. Then I immediately lose interest and never touch it again. FIFA 15 hasn't come out of its box since about November, I swear. Waste of fookin' money. I clocked almost 300 hours on Skyrim! What a game. Think most people are the same. It's great for a few months then you get flat our bored with it, no footy games since PES 6 have had me playing since after Christmas. Only reason I keep them is because when your friends ar eover it's a great to play and you get a good laugh but single player and online are brutal. I buy it every year despite all of that.
