Battlefield hardline? Any good?

Must admit I expected nothing from Rayman when I got it for free from the Xbox Store as I've never played any before but it's been really good.

Next Friday Bloodborne is released on PS4, from the same studio that made Demon Souls and Dark Souls. 

 

 

I'm a massive fan of the Dark Souls games, the first one especially and so this is a game I'm really looking forward to. 

 

If you haven't played the Dark Souls games I cannot recommend them enough, don't hold your hand and make things easy for you, they're really challenging and fun. 

Anyone that has traded in a game witth CEX before... Do you get an actual voucher or does store credit just get put on your membership?

Your choice but you get more for store credit than cash.

Game will price match on Cex trade in prices though.

CEX claim to do exactly the same thing though haha. I went into Game today to pick up Ryse son of Rome, £20 in Game, across the road in CEX it was just £15 so as I'm more likely to buy in CEX I'll probably trade in there.

They give you a receipt with a barcode on that has your credit balance.

COD AW is £23.85 on simplygames.com. Is that website legit? £6.15 cheaper than Amazon which has just come down in price.

I can confirm it is legit. They are often are cheaper than Amazon and competitors. I got AC: Unity from them for a very good price. Their delivery is also rather rapid.

Yep I was surprised, I normally don't find anything cheaper than Amazon for new copies unless it's on sale.

Absolutely loving Dying Light, most enjoyable game since the PS4 was launched. I'm 22% through but struggling to find time to play for hours on end. Having a 10 month year old and a zombie game don't exactly mix well.

The one mission where you have to get a peice of skin from a Boiler In the Night tough. Any ideas?

Pick a safe house near to a bolter area (they're marked on the map) if you have the camouflage skill, kill a zombie, use it as camouflage and move slowly into a bolter spot.

Sneak up behind it and get your sample.

Then just die if need be, you don't have to worry about making it back to a safe house after you've got the sample.

As for Dying Light, I'm trading it in today. Finished the story and all but about 3 side quests, so I've done something like 60 quests in total.

Was huge amounts of fun, got about 40 hours playing time out of it so good value.

Thinking about pre-ordering Just Cause 3 though it's not going to be released till late this year apparently.

Don't think so, bolters are the ones that glow green, I barely ventured out into the night, only if a mission dictated it.

Bolters are the ones that don't attack you, they just run away. They are found only in specific areas on the map at night. You have to be sneaky to catch one.

Completed Prototype 2. Man what a game it is! Absolutely loved it.

 

Although I find it bit strange because I didn't completed the first part, I left it halfway. I dunno how the hero of the first parts become the villian of this one..?

Just Cause 2 is one of my favourite games of all time. SO much fun. I think I'll be pre-ordering JC3 too!

I've never owned it, just played it and won't own now I have a next gen console but if Just Cause 3 is better it should be amazing.

Traded in Dying Light this morning, managed to get £37 store credit so should only need to pay about £10 for Bloodborne on Friday which isn't bad going. 

 

I've got Hotline Miami 2 to tide me over during the week, been really enjoying playing it on the Vita on my commute, the levels have been quite challenging. The story has taken a few twists in the last couple of chapters I have played, they've continued the themes from the first game and I'm actually quite intrigued about how it ends. 

Haven't been playing much for a while, so went and grabbed 3 games to try and keep em interested for a while

FarCry4

and then the remastered Ico and Shadow of the Colossus games (any idea on these?  I was recommended them by a buddy)

Far Cry 4 is amazing. I had it on Xbox 360 and played it to death and I'm going to buy it again on my Xbox One I loved it that much. 

America gets Bloodborne tomorrow, UK has to wait until Friday how in this day and age we don't have global release dates is lost on me?

Still reviews are going up tonight (around 3am GMT)so I'll get to have a read of those before Friday.
