I've now watched the game about 6 times and the shootout alone on about 30 occasions. The weird thing is I can still feel the tension as they're being taken. Maybe it's because I could barely bring myself to watch them on the night and instead stood with my back to the screen holding my head whilst occasionally glancing over my shoulder.

It is sinking in now though. I can't wait for the weekend to catch up with various people who drink in my local pubs that I haven't seen or heard from since I got back, Most of them told we had no chance. I just hope my Champions League winners t-shirt arrives by Friday because I intend to show it off and shove it in everyone's faces

I have listened to this over 100 times since sat night. Just listen to it and you will see why. Gives me goosebumps every single time and I get really emotional (like close to tears), sounds gay I know but In all my time of supporting Chelsea I have never felt like this before.

Just watched Drogba's header & penalty. Still haven't got over it. Champions of Europe, who'd have thought it?

I can't believe how tense I feel whilst watching the PKs, it's like... surreal.

Ha ha! Just watching something like worst Euro moments on BBC3 and they said "will there ever be a day when England beat Germany on penalties?" YES THERE WILL - LAST SATURDAY!!!!!!!!

Haven't commented on our epic win but Gem more or less summed up my thinking since then - so many times we were down - but never out! I'm almost more nervous each time I watch it! And was it just me or did Drogba nearly slip as he took it?! Still can't believe it - and can't keep coming back here to read everyone's comments and revel in the pictures and videos and just soak up the atmosphere. Love Luiz even more than I did before for his interview and his climbing on the crossbar. Absolutely love him!

No, Drogba did not slip; heck, his walkup to take the PK was too slow to slip.

It must be just my nerves - but just as he was going to kick the ball I thought I saw a slight something that made my nerves absolutely jangle - even on the repeats I can see it! Or is it just that when JT went up to the spot in Moscow I thought "this is destiny, JT to win it for us" and my niece said almost exactly the same thing this time except replacing Drog for Terry... i really don't know how we all survived the nerves!

Actually, to be fair, we were favourites against Benfica but it turned out be anything but easy.

That's not how I remember it. I remember Southgate and Keane on ITV saying we would go through to be fair to them but the consensus was that our luck would run out and Benfica all of a sudden became world beaters based on the fact they had outplayed United home and away in the group stage.

Before the ties I was confident we'd beat Bayern,Valencia, Napoli and Benfica. Barca less so only because the 2nd leg was at the Camp Nou but for no other reason.

When we went 3-1 down in Naples I was sure we'd go out if AVB was manager for the 2nd leg but thankfully he wasn't.

The media wrote us off at every single stage in the tournament
