We'll be very confident after beating them at Wembley, but it depends on how Spuds and Newcastle go to see if we still have a chance to get the fourth spot.

Do you think that we should play our full strength side, or rest some key players?

The atmosphere will be pumped, our boys will be well up for it!

We need to rest players for Munch but also keep them match fit for Munich. I'd rest Drogba, Mata, Lampard, Ashley (assuming Ryan isn't injured) and possibly Kalou (should he start in Munch) and bring in Torres, Meireles, Romeu, Bertrand, Malouda and Sturridge.

---------------Superpete-------------

-----------------------------------------

Branna---Bosingwa---JT---Ryan

----------------------------------------

--------------Romeu-----------------

----------------------------------------

-------Rambo--------Meireles-----

----------------------------------------

Studge-------------------Malouda

----------------------------------------

--------------Nando------------------

But I'd must rather Malouda not play play behind a top two of Sturridge and Torres, but I don't think it'll happen.

---------------------------Turnbull

Ferreira------Hutchinson-----Ivanovic------Bertrand

-----------------Romeu----------Essien

----Sturridge-----------Meireles----------Malouda

---------------------------Lukaku

Let's give them the ultimate middle finger by playing our third(?) string and beating them anyway. 1-0 Lukaku header, 32% possession

Difficult decisions for RDM but todays results must play a part, as its going we have to get three points to pressure for fourth spot,

Great to still have so much to concern ourselves about at this stage of a season like this.

After today's results with Newcastle losing & Spurs drawing I think we need to put out a strong side to win our last 2 games and give us hope of grabbing that 4th spot.

Bearing in mind Munich in 2 weeks, I'd go for:

-----------------------------Cech

---Ferreria------Ivanovic------Terry-----Bertrand

---------------------Romeu-------Essien

----------------------------Merieles

----Ramires--------------------------------------Sturridge

------------------------------Torres

Subs: Turnbull, Bosingwa, Hutchinson, Lampard, Mata, Lukaku, Malouda

Would love to see Piazon, Lukaku and even Chalobah to feature in the last two Premier League games

Definitely in the last one, again depending on whether or not we have a chance for fourth.

I think Liverpool should give us a guard of honour as we parade the Cup in front of the Kop.

Then I think they should hold a minute's silence for .. Well, I'm sure they can think of something.

I don't think there will be any chance with the Youth Cup Final Second Leg the following night.

4th place amazingly is still a reality with dropped points today by the Arse and Spurs. Tottenham would have to tie or lost their last game at home to Fulham. With Fulham's place in the standings who knows maybe a draw there is possible. Arsenal would have to lose to West Brom away which is entirely possible both the way this year has gone and they way they are playing. Newcastle have Everton away they would only have to draw against Everton away. Hell if we win our next two fourth place is entirely possible and could take a little pressure off the CL championship game.

Just dont let the scousers damage our Cl final boys..believe me the 4th spot is gone....

Friday I would of agreed with you. But while we were celebrating our FA Cup the redonkulous-ness of our competitors once again has swung the door ajar. It's no easy road mind you, but if we do happen to win Tuesday well all the better for us on Saturday.

To state the obvious, Ivanovic, John Terry and Ramires have to be nailed on starters, and also possibly Merieles. Beyond that I think a lot depends on how good a chance Di Matteo considers we still have of attaining fourth place. My opinion is that fourth remains no better than an outside possibility, but then I'm not the manager.

When we beat Man Utd to the title in 2005 they had a guard of honour for us... so... I don't see the problem with this?

The remaining 2 matches are not our priority, I will happen with lose both matches by 3 goals for the CL trophy. I'm happy for Drogba, Lampard, Cole etc to take this week off. Having said that, it is Liverpool, and the result last night was just another tease for us to get back into the top 4. I expect a similar team to the 1 took on Arsenal. Hope we put in a decent performance, and more importantly - no injury.

yes but you don't want to go into the final on the back of two defeats either...it's a fine balance...also we need one of luiz or cahill to get some action, so they're not completely rusty going into munich

Cech, Paulo, Brana, JT, Bertrand, Essien, Lampard, Ramires, Mata, Malouda and Drogba for me.

Lamps does better when he keeps playing games, and as was said keep JT, Brana, Ramires in, using Meireles too to rest players. Cole, Mikel, Boswinga and Kalou can have a rest in this one, can test Essien's and Paulo's fitness in case Robbie decides to start against either against Bayern.

Rest Mata and we lose our creator and if we are going to use Flo Mo then has to be the Drog up top, Torres + Malouda does not make for good viewing...

Not many chelsea going are there..Last time i looked at ticketing for liv away all catagories were unsold n they decided to sell em on the night at a certain point at anfield...wonder how many dippers will be aquiring tickets seruptisiously into our bit

In 2007 we had to do a guard of honour for Man Utd as well so I think Liverpool should, they won't mind you, but should.

All the planets must align, I have sex with Shakira and win 50 mill on the lottery that is about as much chance of us getting 4th so keep the best players for 19th and give the reserves major mins against Liverpool and Blackburn, absolutely no need to pick up and niggling injuries now. Given how we started we have one a major trophy and we are in the final of another so the season has been relatively successful. Liverpool will want revenge so you can expect Carroll to start where he left off and Gerrard will want to break someones legs because he is a nasty piece of work. We might get a point if were lucky...who cares the biggest prize lies in Munich

Despite the ray of hope with 2 draws & a loss today in reality even if we beat the dippers the final day is easy for Spuds & Gooners, CFC will face Blackburn that could be easy or tough if they are still not relegated, so 4th is not within Chelsea's control so IMO its worth focusing on Munich

Cech has been out of this world these last 2 months with RDM , goals win games and he has kept out Barca & Dippers to get to Munich & win on Saturday, I would wrap him up in cotton wool and let Turnbull have some catching practice for this and the Blackburn game, lets face it if anything happened to Big Pete and he misses May 19th the odds would get a lot longer.

Then theres the nailed on starters for Munich - Bossy (? I prefer Paulo), Cole, Mikel, Essien, Lampard, Mata, Kalou, Drogba they need to be protected and used sparingly

That leaves the suspended players to start - Ivan, JT, Rambo & Meireles with the others available Bertrand, Paulo, Studge, Malouda, Romeu,Torres and we just have to pray that Cahill & Luiz get a few minutes on the pitch a week from today.

A bore draw at Anfield I do see.

Well some of the planets have already aligned. It's still a long shot but we have about a 25% chance if we go 2-0 to qualify for fourth, statistically.
