Garath Bale, anyone?

What are the chances of us pinching Gareth Bale off Spurs in the summer ? Now were in the Champions League and they aren't its possible .

were crying out for a natural winger with pace and at the age of 22 its worth it . Just imagine if we signed Bale and Hazard this summer !

If we want the best players in the world and challange every season for the CL , PL ect thats what we will have to do . buying both hazard and Bale would probably cost about 70 mill together which is a massive amount of money but bale is 22 and hazard is 21 so we could potentially be getting 10 years or more out of both of them ! so would be well worth it , it wouldnt be like were taking a risk on a has been at the age of 29 . ie 30 mill Shevchenko , Crespo .... when there passed it , so yeah in the long run im sure it would be well worth it !

There are plenty of players like him out there (admittedly not all with fantastic crossing like Bale but good enough), Diego Capel for example. Although if we're willing to spend this much on Hazard then might as well add an extra mil or so and get Bale.

Cole and Bale up and down the left would be one hell of a force , after last night mikel showed us he is clas it would be harsh for him not to be in the starting line up same goes for frank , but there has to be a time were we start rebuilding . so thats 2 signings that have made our team look like 1 of the very best in world football . to me that team is very exciting !

Bale would be a waste of money. Buying from within the Premiership is never a good idea when you're talking about players like Bale. He isn't worth the fortune Levy would demand for him, not by a long shot.

He is too much "kick-and-run"-guy in my opinion. Can hit a shot once in a while, but boy has he sucked since Christmas. We need wingers who are a little more advanced than Bale, even though he would strengthen our team drastically (since our options is Studge, Rami and Kalouda).

Exactly. For another example, look at Glen Johnson. I'll take the vastly superior Branislav Ivanovic for under 10 MP over toilet seat thieving trash like Glen Johnson for nearly twice the amount.

Bale has some skill but throw me in the camp that says he is overrated as well. Given the amount of money he would cost, there are a lot of players I would rather us go for.

Brit, I have heard a rumour we might be buying Gareth Bale.

I would love it for three reasons;

1. He is absolutely top quality and those that say he is overrated are.......................... wrong.

2. After dumping Tottenham out of the CL without having kicked a ball, taking one of their star players, (probably their main star player) and starting a summer fire sale at sh*te Fart Lane, would be the cherry on the cake.

3. Soloman Kalou would have less chance of being picked.

We paid Liverpoo £50 million for Torres, lets go get ourselves a chimp I say.

In all honesty I don't think any amount of money would make Daniel levy Part with Gareth bale to us.

If barca offer £40mill and we offered £60mill he'd still turn us down out of spite and I don't blame him. If the boot was on the other foot we would do the same

it will be a fantastic summer for us, champions of europe - that alone will make us be able to attract every single player on this planet.

Bale would be a fantastic addition but he will cost us a bunch of money.

Been reading rumours that he has signed a 4-year contract extension with Spurs. Maybe Levy convinced him to sign so the club could increase his transfer value, but then he'll turn around and not let him go.
