Not sure if this is the right place, but thought it would be good to talk about current and ex-Chelsea players in the Euro.

Just saw Shevchenco's two goals (so far) versus Sweden - well done that man!

Chelsea's english players did pretty well versus France I thought.

And Pter Cech must wish he had our defence in fron of him again!

I'm not really. He was alright to play after sustaining a shoulder injury, but I don't want him to run any risk and to get some rest FFS!

Ashley's been great. He is such a steady performer. Completely pocketed Iarmolenko yesterday. JT's had more difficulties and part of the reason is Lescott.

Meireles' been his normal self and I really understand his strengths when he plays for his country. With 4-3-3 and probably the deadliest wing-duo a team can have with Ronaldo and Nani he forms a very tight 3-man midfield that stops opponent and turns the game to attack. Portugal has a very good chance to go all the way.

Torres' been okay so far. Spain is the only team in this world where Mata wont fit because of the Barca-duo and Silva. Bad luck.

I agree Lecott looks like the weak point in the England defence, but on the whole it's still very strong. Terry has played very well so far, and at times against Ukraine it looked like he could be England's best passer of the ball (faint praise I know)!

How England could do with a player of Mata's craft in MF.
