On the one hand, £13m is a very good amount for a 34 year old.

On the other hand, no f**king way would I sell Lampard for any amount of money!

JT isn't as good as he used to be, so it's not a bad idea to at least consider moving him on... Not to mention he'll probably be banned for the start of the season for the anton ferdinand thing, so he'd miss at least 8 games anyway.

No way in hell is Lamps moving tho. The MLS is for players that used to have it, and clearly don't anymore. He clearly still has it.

not as good as he used to be? er, he was england's best player at euro 2012 and barca red mist aside, was superb for chelsea once avb stopped playing his stupid high line...

as for lamps, I'm sure the club will let him see out his contract and will leave next year...also never heard an mls club bidding for players...aren't they always free transfers?

Haha, he was not England's best player at Euro. Walcott, Gerrard and Hart all played better than he did. Let's not be bias now..

And he's not the player he used to be, not even close. He's made a lot of mistakes this last season and it's clear that much like Ferdinand and Carra, his time is coming. I'm not a big fan of JT. I guess I actually care what type of people represent the club and JT doesn't exactly represent the club in a good way... Give me all the stick you want for it but that's just how I am.

I don't get the MLS rumor with Lamps considering they said they wanted him on a free when he's still under contract? Doesn't really make sense.. But like I said he's still got it in him so there's no reason to sell him unless somebody comes in with a really high offer since he's gone next year anyway.

The last 2 seasons he has still been our best defender, and he was Englands best defender in the Euro`s. Walcott better? Really? One decent 20 minutes hardly means he was better. Gerrard was possibly better, but not by a lot. And Hart was shaky as hell. JT gives us much more than just his defending on the pitch, he brings solidity, organisation, control. Off the pitch he is the leader and is central to having a team ethic and great atmosphere at the club. He leaves then we lose much more than a player.

Seriously? you're going to use that? He's is one of the least ethical people at the club (hopefully). I'm not saying he's not a good player, I just clearly don't rate him as much as the lot of you. And the defending at chelsea for the last couple seasons hasn't been as good as it needs to be. Luiz came and we thought he was going to be amazing but he does get caught out too often, same with Cole but that's expected from an attacking position. Ivanovic has been good so no complaints there, but the Chelsea defense could definitely be better.

Walcott? You srs? Played well for 10 mins against Sweden then proceeded to do fuk all for the restof he tourney

Erm, yeah, I`m going to use that for a player who has taken us to easily the most trophy laden era of our club. As for least ethical at the club, why exactly?

I wouldnt mind us selling Lampard for £13m too much, for 34 years old and a bit of money isn't bad. Yes hes a legend but I don't think there's much room in the squad for him anymore, unless he's happy to play as a back up/ rotation role.

JT on the other hand, no. Don't ever sell JT. Chelsea til he retires.

I believe the story said it was a £13m contract he would get, and that Chelsea would release him for free.

Can't see it happening, not when he's so close to our all time record goal scorer.

JT still has at least 3-4 more years in him at the top level as well I think (though not always as a starter), so I dont' think he'll go either.

Though if either of them wanted to, I wouldn';t have an issue with it, they've given us so much over the years, if they want to go and face a new challenge in a different country for a few years, good for them.

Lamps - no way. Can't see it. Maybe this time next year when his contract is up. But not now.

JT - hmmmm..

I honestly think that if a team came in with a decent bid for him the club would consider selling and it wouldn't be for football reasons. Just a gut feeling.

Get used to seeing his name in the papers these next few weeks anyway.

I think you've just proved you don't know what you're talking about. You'd rather listen to the Sun and other bullsh*t meadia outlets than using your own eyes and making up your own mind.

I panic when I don't see his name in the papers, means he's probably fallen off the end of the earth.

No bias involved. He was the most consistent player for England. Our defence was our only asset he was at the heart of it. You need players that play 90 every match not 30 seconds then go missing. this Gerrard hype winds me up, Pirlo showed him how to play.

I expect Ferdinand to have his reputation in tatters or for the case to get thrown with the main witness walking..

JT a definite NO...as for Lamps C U L8R, let hime earn his last pay cheque as he will only be a bench player this year...we need to move forward..
