Given the latest rumours that John Terry could be subject to a bid from PSG and Frank Lampard could end up in America playing for LA Galaxy alongside David Beckham which would see him earn 13m a year, who would you rather see leave? A hard question to swallow for possibly all Chelsea fans.

Both players have played with 100% passion, committment and have been fantastic players in their prime and still represent good players today but with age not on there side and being the wrong side of 30 with Lamps at 34 and JT at 32 is it time to say goodbye to two members of our old guard, and two definite Chelsea legends.

However if one had to leave, who would you prefer to depart Stamford Bridge thinking about possible replacements or do we need to keep both?

Me being bias - Frank, for the good of the team - JT. Although I believe we have better made replacements for Terry, I think his leadership cannot be underestimated.

Of course I want both to stay and I believe they will.

Wow its a tough call. I think it would be harder to replace Frank as a player but almost impossible to replace what Terry gives for the club. I would have to say let Frank go, no Terry, No Frank. Yeah it would be a sad day but I would let Frank go.

Do you not think that Cahill is here to replace Terry? They play very much alike.

Player wise yes, but influentially he isn't John Terry, we need JT around for at least another season.

I did that wrong... I mean if I was being bias I would want Frank to STAY but for the good of the team I'd want JT too. Numpty.

Don't worry Gem, I think we knew what you were getting at.

I don't really want either of them to leave (also, last time we had a US tour was when Terry was being linked with a move to Man City), but I think if we had to choose between the two it would have to be Frank. He is older, we have replacements - in a way - for him, and I think he'd quite enjoy coming out to LA.

Terry needs to be around to help build the future pairing of Luiz and Cahill

If it was a straight choice, then I'd pick JT, but the way things stand, it's got to be Lampard who stays.

If and when JT gets stitched up in his pending court case and found guilty, then I can foresee the FA throwing the book at him and giving him an extremely long ban, so he'd miss a lot of the season anyway. I really hope his case gets thrown out of court, but I won't be holding my breath.

They aing going anywhere(I hope lol). JT seems very committed to the cause of being a 'one club' man and I feel Lamps will end his playing days with us.

My answer would depend on the outcome of the court trial. But at this moment I think JT would be far harder to replace than Lamps because there is a real shortage of quality CB's out there. Both are invaluable though and I'll be gutted when they leave

I hate to say it, but Lampard! I absolutely love Terry. I hope he finishes his career at Chelsea, then eventually moves on to a Coaching role.

Neither.

You have seen players stick around for the good our their club many times, United being a great example of that.

Didier would have been good to stick around too but being a number 2 was not in his makeup. Lamps taking on the Scholes role and JT like Adams and later Keown would be good for the club imo.

For me players like Malouda, Essien, Meireles and Yossi should be the ones on their way out.

I, reluctantly, voted Frank Lampard. Only because I think it would be a real shame if JT didn't finish his career at Chelsea and end it as a one-club man. Obviously Frank can't do that.

Also I think Frank would do really well in the US and people might be able to appreciate him more as player if wasn't wearing a Chelsea shirt. I know I appreicated Beckham more as player once he left Man Utd.

But neither would be the preferred outcome obviously.

As someone else said i cant see him and his misses going over there. She gets on the tv over here but im not sure if she would over there.

I feel Terry is much easier to replace than Lamps.

Look at the CL final. Cahill and Luiz partnered together and they were very good. Cahill has a lot of the "Terry" about him, with his flying blocks and headers, and he's quicker.

Whereas look at Lampard...34 now? Injured, dropped...still our top scorer with 16 goals from midfield... he's the irreplaceable one. I don't think we're likely to see a midfield player with his goal scoring ability again in our generation.

She wouldn't 'need' to be on TV over there, though, would she?

If I had to choose one to depart, it would be Terry. Lampard is simply irreplaceable.

I dont know, i guess it depends if she was happy just being a wag and not working while Frank brings in all the money.
