King Roberto, where do we follow you next?

Hope it's not QPR.....

Nah he will land a good un our Robbie!

Least he deserves.

CL winning manager at his early 40's....not many can say that

His old club Lazio were interested, but they appointed Petkovic a number of months ago. He won't go there unless Petkovic is sacked. Lazio are doing OK at the moment, so that's not too likely. Then again, Napoli are doing better and they're still interested.

I would like to see him at Fiorentina, but ex-Fulham man Vince Montella is making his mark there in a big way.

I hope he comes back here some day, the Clubs saleable and if Abramovic sells up there'll be plenty of takers and when hes sacked a few more Managers he could well sell up, might get someone that understands the game a bit better and gos after the man who brought us our most lucrative prize.

Before people give it the be grateful to Roman bollocks I'll say that if I had a quarter of his money and was there at the right time to buy Chelsea I'd be the owner and I wouldn't want grattitude for having an expensive hobby.

I can guarentee people would get treated with a bit more respect.

Robbie earned the right to make a few mistakes, we've swapped a young classy manager for one that will be given players to that were needed in the weaker positions, Carte Blanch to have the team playing any sort of football as long as we win and will be go down as someone who righted Robbies wrongs if we do ok...what a crock of sh*t.

Like so many others, the events of the last few days have left me a bit numb, angry & more than a touch pissed off, even more so because it was all so unecessary & avoidable.

I could talk paragraphs of crap & not get anywhere near to what I want to convey, but then, thankfully,Chippys post above says it all so well & so sweetly.

Hats off to you sir.

A lot of fans loved RDM..I liked him...I dont believe he was a legend of the likes of Osgood Etc etc....Hes gone...I wish him well but theres no tears...he did what he did and hes gone...I like to now concentrate on whats happening now ..Theres too much angst at the Bridge to save some for RDM who is a multi millionaire and will go on to earn zillions more...My energy must be for the NOW

Player wise he may not be thought of in the likes of Zola and Osgood etc but he is the only man to win us the Champions League.

Robbie was a brilliant player, absolutely brilliant. If he hadn't had that nasty injury, we may very well be talking about him in the same breath as Zola and Osgood. Remember, we didn't sign Zola until he was 30, which is the same age that Robbie's career was effectively over.

Well said chippy, and as for Robbie being a great like Osgood and Zola robbie scored in 3 cup finals at Wembley Zola never did and I think Osgood did when he was with stoke. Who set up wise for he's famous san siro goal are he's scorcher against arsenal in the league cup semi final and he's famous celebration against Boro in the 96/97 season and I had the pleasure to meet him a lovely man just like Osgood and Zola. Robbie is and always be a Chelsea legend even if he never won the champions league.

Heard that Southampton are keen on getting him if Nigel Adkins' results don't start picking up. Could picture him doing well there!

I know the man won the champs league with us, however i never felt he was a top class manager in the making.... For me, a team of Southamptons (ditto west brom, west ham, sunderland, villa, arsenal etc) stature and level is the type of place where i see Robbie managing. I just dont see him in the top elite tier of managers, i dont know why, just my feeling perception.

King Roberto, wehre do we follow you next is the question....

Surely Nottingham Forest is not the answer! The man is a champions league winning manager and should not be mentioned in the same article as Roy "the fury" Keane!
