probably on a wind up...but he's just so wrong...

re. joe cole - jose made him a more complete player and it was actually a knee injury against southend which fcuked up his career...

as for lamps shooting too much and comparisons with stevie 'i've never won the premier league' me, oh dear...192 gls and still counting...could have been 193 last night but for linesman's flag...and rafa's foolish decision to take him off and allow the invisible man to stay on

I feel sorry for him to be honest, back in the day he was worth a listen with the likes of Honegstein etc. They went on to become respected sports journalists, he is now a sh*tty shock jock with no opinions worth listening to who`s job is to entice morons to phone or the his show and make the station money. Pretty pathetic really.

Good lord. His comments on Lampard in particular are ridiculous. Did he not notice the two passes for Ramires against Barca last year, one for him to score in the Nou Camp and the other for Ramires to set up Drogba? Did he miss the slide rule pass to Drogba that put Liverpool to bed in the FA Cup final last year?

Frank never was a fan of the pass with the outside of the foot into the Row 10 though. Must be what Durham assumes to be passing ability.

The man has nothing of interest to say about anything football related and most of it is just designed to get a reaction anyway. I stopped listening to his show a long time ago. He's perfect for the Daily Mail.

If he thinks Joe Cole was ever a 'gifted passer' he is pretty clueless. Yes, there was was that stunning through ball to Drogba in the CL in (I think) Valencia, but passing - like shooting - was never his strong point. Nor was tackling or heading, which makes him a pretty limited player, for all his tricks. He was a skilfull but frequently ineffective player, and totally overrated by people who didn't watch him play week in week out.

As for his opinions on Lamps, well, what can you say? If he'd shot less, he wouldn't have scored so many goals, and his record wouldn't have been so superior to Gerrard's, which is what Durham can't handle. Lamps has scored 30 goals in his last 65 games in the past season and a half in all competitions, with 14 assists.

Gerrard has scored 15 in 58, with 21 assists.

Is this guy having a laugh? I can remember Frank having one shot all game yesterday, and it went in but then was ruled out for offside.

Clearly just trying to provoke people and make a name for himself, blaming Jose for Joe Cole not reaching his potential, I suppose he should be blamed for Robben going on to play for RM and Bayern too?

Lampard shoots too much ? :face_palm:  Has he not looked at the amount of assists Lampard has given over the years ?

No, i'm not getting into this, he's a dick who hasn't got a clue what he is on about, i think it's best to leave it at that.

In a feature on how crap Torres has been for us, the Heil have printed a ranking of the top 30 Premiership goal scorers.  Durham should take a look at what it reveals about Lamps' shooting. He might like a few facts to counterbalance his deranged thinking:

His shot conversion rate is the second best, his shooting accuracy is the second best, while the number of shots he has taken is one of the lowest, and lower than anyone else who has as much playing time as him.

Only an incompetent lunatic would pick Torres ahead of the guy who is third in that table.......

fergy wants him, jose loves him, pirlo wants him, psg wants him, barca was rumoured to want him, all those england managers had him in the team, fifa had him second to ronaldinho and every chelsea fan want him to stay! perhaps he's suffering from senilety!
