Lukaku to Everton

Featured Replies

A huge weight on Lukaku's shoulders IMO. Torres is a huge star and scored in every possible occasion big or small and physically he still is at peak and yet we can't trust him to score. Okay Torres is a bad example and we've been over it for about 350 pages but I just can't believe we are about to enter another season with him, Ba and future superstar Lukaku. I'm 100% sure the as the board watched the games last season they made promises to themselves not to be in the same situation come this season...yet here we are month away from shut window and as we know the market is all but empty.

I have nothing against Lukaku's skill but my concern is his lack of experience. Winning something comes with experience...

i'm not so sure. he's young and there's a £50million man standing in the spotlight beside him, expectations aren't sky high in the short term imo.

I really hope he proves me wrong and we risk it not bringing anyone in.

i don't think that's a risk we should take. even if lukaku has a stormer he still can't play every game and our only options will be torres (a non-factor) and ba. that's still not a good enough line-up imo

I've been a bit dissapointed in Lukakus ability to hold on to the ball in these pre season games. He has good movement and pace, but his passing and the way he shields the ball needs some work, atleast when he is up against a established defence.

Have we? Where? I must have missed that thread....

I have to say, watched the game back today and don't think his hold up play was as bad as people are making out. Actually thought he brought people in to the game well

I agree thought he linked up well with one or 2 deft flicks that came off. He had a tough job trying to occupy and battle 3 centre backs in inters 352 formation. I cant see any other outcome than him scoring goals for us.

A great interview. They both seem like really good guys.

I just came to post that and you beat me to it! Nice to see interviews like that.

They seem very relaxed which is good to see. Wouldn't be surprised to see Lukaku as a starter by the end of the season. If he bulks up a bit more, so defenders bounce off him, he could be devastating.

He can add some muscle. Somewhere between Crouch and Akinfenwa is where to stop!

First name Romelu Menama

Last name Lukaku

Nationality Belgium

Date of birth 13 May 1993

Age 20

Country of birth Belgium

Place of birth Antwerpen

Position Attacker

Height 191 cm

Weight 94 kg

Foot Right

He's good, but he must keep scoring for him to be recognized. He got some really good potentials, but he needs it all out for his dream to be possible.
