Remember Kalou missed a penalty in Moscow?  He ran to the benches afterwards and cried.    I think he took a few more after that and looked much more assured.  Lukaku will bounce back from this. He asked to take the penalty which shows he has guts and that his heart is in the right area.  I think Drogba's message is key to him bouncing back too, as Romelu respects the Drog so much

Players better than Lukaku have all missed pens. Thats no disrespect to Lukaku, what im trying to say is that anyone can miss a Pen. Messi even misses them in big games. As long as Lukaku uses this is the right way and doesnt let is eat him up then he will be ok. Also it wasnt the champions league final, it was a over hyped european friendly. It would have been nice to win but its really not the end of the world that we didnt.

Let him and Ba go.We will be left with Torres ( 7 PL goals last season) and grandad Eto'o (played his retirement last 2 seasons),Way to go Chelsea.From  what I have seen against  MU Schurrle  doesnt have the qualities to play as a striker .

Good luck to the lad,hope he bangs them in and asks for transfer.What more can he do,he scored more last season than FT or Ba  but  still not enough.JM would rather play 'names' ,and he is just a liar as well.

I cannot fathom how this football club can be so f*cking dysfunctional. We have 4 strikers, of whom 2 have effectively retired and one is a useless donkey. Yet here we are loaning out the only one with a real talent and potential to develop into the quality forward that we need. And to think of all that bullsh*t Mourinho came out with in the Preseason about how the focus is now about nurturing the young talent.

 

Oh well, I'm sure we've got a last minute deal for a creative midfielder up our sleeves as a replacement.
