The New Doctor Who is....

Yes, you are, he's a superb Scottish actor, who played Rory in Iain Banks's The Crow Road, and many other roles, including more recently Malcolm Tucker in the excellent political satire the Thick Of It.

I don't watch Doctor Who, I think it's an appallingly-made programme.

But I'll definitely tune in to watch Peter Capaldi tell a Dalek to "go f**k yourself. You're about as useful as a marzipan dildo"

For those who have only ever seen Peter Capaldi as Malcolm Tucker - he is an ACTOR - like Christopher Ecclestone and David Tennant were.

I am really looking forward to seeing his interpretation of the Doctor.

Has any one seen the role he had in world was Z yet :)

No, I haven't.  Was it good?

I have never seen more than 60 seconds of Dr. Who, is that bad?

Am I missing much?

You probably should have started when you were a wee boy.  It may be a bit late now....

OK, I see.  And with Brad Pitt too!  Can't be bad! I've discovered it's on locally next week, but not in the original, and I can't stand dubbed films, so I shall bide my time patiently.

In fact, I have pre-ordered the DVD!  Sounds good!  Zombies!
