The youngsters are doing well.

 

See the U 21's beat Norwich 2-0 last night with a certain Josh McEachran scoring both goals - one a penalty.

 

And today the U 18's beat Liverp**l 4-2. Always good to give that lot a beating - at ANY level.

 

Let's hope the first team make it a hat-trick of wins later today.

Christiansen was impeccable against Norwich, but mceachran second was sheer class.

Christiansen looks an incredible prospect, so calm and composed and excellent with the ball.

Piazon scored twice for Vitesse against Zwolle,PvA also played the whole mafch.Cuevas and Kakuta were on the bench.

Haven't heard much about Romeu.

I went to see southend v Bristol rovers tonight and noticed a certain Connor Clifford warming up for the shrimpers. Is he on loan or have we released him?

Can't believe he's not considered good enough to get in their starting lineup.

He was released in Jan Barn, made me think of Billy clifford as well, he's still with us but 20 and no where near the first team.

How can it be that we have had one of the elite youth teams in England for the last 5 years or so and no one can make the cut

Its a real shame isn't it, the problem is our players in recent years have been one of the very best in the world in their position and we've got the money to ensure that. Its hard for a kid to compete with that.

Bamford has two today for MK Dons.

Watched that this morning on CTV. Well, the first half, anyway. Some excellent football played - they're a very talented and entertaining bunch. Apparently, all but one or tow are still qualified for the Under 19s.

Read the report and it sounds like we played well, and as backbiter says pur squad is a very young one .

Patrick Bamford scoring again today.  I'd love to see him move to a premierhip team on loan.  Chelsea Youth are calling him Bamfordinho
