Just been announced by the RSPCA that both the cats are now in their care.

West Ham may have issues with their sponsors but sounds like their plan is a maximum fine to Kurt with the money going to animal warfare charities. 

Personally think they scored a big PR own goal playing Kurt yesterday. Should have had him suspended until their due process was complete.

Supposedly there is a bug uproar in France about this too. Their laws are strict and there are groups there pushing for jail time for Zouma.

West hams solution a 2 week fine donated to animal charities.

Vitality has suspended their sponsorship of west ham and Adidas has dropped zouma as a client.

I bet West Ham board are furious with sponsors now pulling out.

Despite what Moyes and their club statements said they scored a big PR own goal here. The reaction continues to be negative towards them.

If that continues they could be in a difficult position. They should have suspended Kurt to give themselves time.

Well done on them, and shame on West Ham.

My mum has 3 cats and I have a dog. We are massive animal lovers and only donate to animal charities, not human ones (there are enough of us in the world). However, this is getting a bit OTT now. He's been fined 250k, cats taken away and endorsements suspended. That's a fair punishment for abusing a cat that wasn't killed or injured. The constant outcry for jail time and him losing his job is just ridiculous now. 

A lot of people are now trying to turn it into a race issue and say if it was somebody like Harry Kane, there would be no punishment. What an absolute load of sh*te.

I am even seeing people bring up the incident where Hazard was sent off for kicking the ball from under the boy ball.

Antonio didn't start it though. It was Kirkland who said what Zouma did was worse than racism. Antonio is not using race to back up Zouma, all he's saying is that racial incidences haven't carried this much outcry or punishment e.g to be sacked.

Yes i did kick my cat but what about racism? with kicking my cat i wanted to bring to light that racism is terrible. If you criticise me for that then you are a racist. If the media criticise me for that then it's institutional racism. So please let me kick my cat in peace.

Unfortunately more and more things are popping up that the reaction to Kurt is only due to the colour of his skin a day if a white person had done it no one would have cared apparently.

Commonly seeing Hazard kicking the ball boy, Suarez fined for racism, McGuire being convicted of assault and none of them lost sponsorship so the racism brigade are saying the reaction is either because more people value a cat than human lives or because the other 3 were not black
