Last season Vidal, Pirlo and Marchisio were arguably all better if not on a similar level, but lets face it that was the best midfield in the world last year so I don't think its a bad thing if he wasn't the best

They actually say those players could move in the opposite direction in the deal, but if it's a PURE CASH DEAL, it will be the 4th largest British transfer ever. £69m. Only The deals involving Bale, Ronaldo and Suarez being more expensive.

I must admit, although unlikely, there is obviously some truth in the rumours. Which is a good positive sign of intent from the owner/board.

 

I would happily see Oscar, Ramires or Cuad go as part of the deal. I believe Willian is a very useful player to have in the squad so wouldnt like to see him leave. Although Oscar is loved by many on here, he is definitely behind Willian in the pecking order, and will now also be behind Pedro. So I wouldnt see it as a great loss.

 

If we cannot negotiate a deal for Pogba, we must look to fill the CM void elsewhere. Would love Thiago, or Verratti.

The only players whom went for more are ronaldo and bale, and they're guys who are goal scorers, and goal scorers win you games. I think the fee juve want for pogba is overinflated considering he isn't bringing us anything special at all in terms of assists or goals. 

 

Also in terms of stats, Oscar and Pogba are very similar.

Its my opinion that he is over rated. I want him to be good, i really do. But cant kid myself into thinking he is World-Class when he isnt. A player like Coutinho is head and shoulders above him.

Coutinho not the guy Pogba should be compared to. He is an AM and Pogba CM with defensive duties. Coutinho has no skill to defend. However Coutinho is excellent.

Sky are saying weve agreed a deal.

According to the transfer centre on the Sky Sports website, Juve have told Sky Pogba will not be leaving this Summer.

(It also says Stones is now odds on to stay at Everton)

Oscar is easily one if our hardest working players. When in form I'd say he's a big factor in the better performances of both fabregas and Costa.

Stats have him better then Coutinho last season and couhtino was sh*t at the start of last year, he came on in the last part of the season... Still a lot to prove. Oscar for me all day long
