Rodgers has only had one season in charge of a team that had anything like a squad to challenge for trophies...Wenger has forgotten the last trophy he won, what's his excuse?

Gotta challenge that. Rodgers is safe at Liverpool for a good few seasons to come. He's made a lot of progress. The interesting thing will be how, next season, Liverpool manage a domestic and european challenge.

if only other teams had the nous and the players to do this too - Arsenal's and Spurs' efforts against Liverpool this season have been pretty shocking.  Better next year Spud?

Yeah, you notice that? How dare Jose have tactical awareness and knowledge!

We have a manager who is meticulous in his planning, even more so that his first time with us. He's learned a hell of a lot in his spells with Inter and Madrid. He's the only manager you could say is able to set up a side to get a specific result, he's like a twelfth man.

Rodgers looked absolutely flummoxed by Jose's tactics. The old "parking the bus" line does him and us a huge disservice, you've got to admire the level of knowledge and planning that's gone into that kind of display along with many others this season, as recently as midweek against Atletico.

Does it frustrate opponents? Of course ... because we're not the one leaking cheap goals.
