Brenden banging on about how Liverpool are a big club, bigger than City, this is all they ever talk about. Who cares? They either play the history card, or the big club card, to mask the fact that they are pitiful club compared to how they used to be. Being a big club really doesn't matter, it's success that matters and success isn't something that they've had a lot of in recent times.

i honestly believe that if a player was offered the same money to play for either city or liverpool, with no strings attached in terms of competition for places.... that, 7-8 times out of 10, that player would choose city simply because they are far more successful in recent times and the probability of on field success would be far greater than liverpool

the history excuses got old years ago

Just read some of the deluded arrogance on this thread - esp' about JM being ok for the 'not quite top teams' and about the higher ambitions of MUFC.

Maybe some sort of Scouse Myopia Virus has whizzed east to Manchester.

Oh yeah...that's the team that play beautiful open attacking football....where will they finish? behind us and without a trophy...and there are two other teams that play in red that play beautiful open attacking football...and where will they finish...one or both with no silverware.  Yes I like many others on here are disappointed at times when we appear to play defensive when we all think we should be attacking....all I can say is, it's a good job we are only 'armchair' managers or we would end up like the teams in red...playing beautiful football but winning sweet FA.....love him or hate him Jose wins trophies and TBH I really don't care how...but FFS stop giving me these heart attacks every week!!

West Ham aren't even trying.

Watch them pull their performance of the season out of their ass in a few weeks time.

Against who?

What is This great football they're on about? Only played well past few weeks...talk about deluded

Always have a quick read through the Red Cafe forum, generally a lot of good people on there talking sense. But the whinging about our style of play; seriously?! I'm sure I've seen Utd grind out a few wins in the past, playing poorly only to score the winner in the 96th minute. You can't always just go out there and play exactly how you want to, playing freely and with flair without worrying of setting up properly defensively. Sometimes you've got to play with a bit of thought and planning and yes, it doesn't always result in a 'pretty' game, but who gives a sh*t, we know how to win!!!

Oh and I love how they would all hate Jose at Utd. Well he's never going to go to you so I guess you think yourselves lucky, but I bet they would've snatched at the chance of having someone like him over Moyes. They only hate us because they can't beat us ;)

They're very very forgetful of just how sh*te they were at the start of the season, and my God they were sh*te!

Did you predict that, or is my BT stream slow? :)

Was typing Villa comma pull it back, just as I posted they scored which meant my sentence without the comma was apt, so I edited, spooky!

Villa, score again.
