November 9, 201411 yr There's a tension also (re. Spurs) between the sense of giving a manager time and how quickly a team can lose touch with the top of the table. AVB should perhaps have had more time but we were playing terribly. The same situation faces Spurs now: Pochettino needs time but, equally, he needs to create that time (like Pardew) by getting some league results. Levy isn't patient but, should Pochettino go, Spurs will need a manager of proven quality and will need to give that manager time. In his turn, that manager (if chosen in the pre-season) should use that pre-season to decide who will be in his starting eleven (broadly) and not be faffing about with that issue three plus months into the season.
November 9, 201411 yr If Arsenal lose today, That's us, United, Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal all in a crisis/mini crisis, Bet you boys are absolutely loving it.

November 9, 201411 yr Is Gylfi Sigurdsson too good for Swansea or is he at the right level? Whenever I watch him, His technique and touch remind me of Toni Kroos .

I bet they are too K: being honest, CFC can disregard us as long as they play well. Southampton need taking seriously now as no other team is stepping up to the plate and they are dangerous because they are still not being taken seriously.

He didn't really set the league alight with Spurs which is (or was) a step up from Swansea I'd say however sometimes a player can just really suit a style of play.
November 9, 201411 yr Swansea are all over Arsenal freaking Phil Dowd is player hating again. That should have been a pk given for Chambers barging into Bony's back. Only Dowd rules otherwise
November 9, 201411 yr Not based on today's game but I wish we got Sanchez, would be great on the right and I feel would be able to work and help the team after Jose had worked with him, plus could cover as striker if we were desperate.

Spurs main problem Spud is the Europa League. It's the biggest booby prize in football.
