October 22, 201411 yr how pointless are those extra officials at the side of the goal when they can't even tell between a header and a handball - shocking call to give Schalke a win tonight....dear oh dearsshocking decision wasn't it, reminded me of the one given against Cole against villa. It blatantly hit his chest.
October 22, 201411 yr According to the mailonline, Mr Tired aka Raheem Sterling was out partying till 3am at Cirque le soir in Central London the day before he told Roy he was tired, He was joined by Danny Welbeck and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Now let's hear one of these modern day athlete apologists try to defend him.
October 22, 201411 yr Author Bayern v Chelsea, Champions League Final, If I had to set the odds for this game right now id have Bayern 7/5 favourites with Chelsea 9/5 and the draw at 12/5, In a one legged tie it would be a heck of a game, I'd have Lewandowski 7/2 first goal scorer with Costa and Muller at 4/1 joint 2nd faves, Anyone disagree? Mate, I don't think my heart could handle another Champions League final, even weeks before the game, I often felt sick just worrying about it.
October 22, 201411 yr I've just got this sneaky feeling Liverpool beat Madrid tonight, I'm not convinced by this Madrid side, Defensively are shocking and if the dippers can sing a passionate ynwa and get the place feeling electric, I can see Liverpool scoring 2/3 goals**. **Only if Balotelli doesn't start
October 22, 201411 yr Liverpool beating Madrid? LOL You do realise Madrid have been scoring for fun and Ronaldo is scoring at a rate or 2 goals a game recently. Liverpool on the other hand are conceding goals for fun and are missing their best striker in Sturridge. Madrid will counter the hell out of the dippers tonight and it will be amazing to see Gerrard and co getting a real lesson yet again.
October 22, 201411 yr There is no doubt that the atmosphere will make it more difficult for Madrid to impose themselves right away. Lolpool have been starved of the champions league and will be well up for it. But...if Madrid get an early goal it could be a rout.
October 22, 201411 yr Liverpool beating Madrid? LOL Not exactly an outrageous suggestion, whatever you say about Liverpool they have a pretty good side that finished 2nd last year, and they are at home. Madrid are hardly invincible, they've already lost a few games this season.
October 22, 201411 yr I wouldn't be totally suprised to see the dippers get a result tonight but it won't change anything. Small teams often get themselves going when a big side comes to visit, fans are excited and it make for a good night. But when all is said and done that game finishes and Madrid will still go much further than them in the competition. The reason we have group stages in the CL is so that things like this can happen but the big teams still progress.

Madrid are hardly invincible, they've already lost a few games this season. Last season they had Suarez and Sturridge. They have neither tonight. That's a HUGE difference IMO. Madrid have Ronaldo who is probably the most dangerous player in Europe right now in terms of goalscoring and form. Liverpool in current form don't stand a chance IMO. Of course that means they will now fluke a 1-0 win.
October 22, 201411 yr sshocking decision wasn't it, reminded me of the one given against Cole against villa. It blatantly hit his chest. You mean the one that saw him get sent off and concede the last minute penalty in the 4-4 draw? The one where the replay showed the ball hitting the chest and not the arm? The one when we appealed against the red card because the evidence showed it wasn't a handball? The one when the FA threw out our appeal despite the TV footage proving the red card was wrong? Is that the one you mean? Contrast that with the FA OVERTURNING the red card for deliberate handball by Chamberlain last season, on the basis that the TV showed the ball would have missed, so his deliberate cheating didn't really warrant a red. Even though it would have been impossible for the linesman who saw the handball to have been able to judge whether the ball was going in. Beyond belief, really.
October 22, 201411 yr Ronaldo has already scored 20 in all competitions this season - by my reckoning Liverpool only have 17 in all competitions

The F.A. only act on big incidents, they are a joke really, and that's just to protect there name. But to look at it from both sides Costa should have served a suspension for what he did to sigurdson earlier in the season, match of the day barely spoke about it and moved on quickly and because of that the F.A. don't see it as a big issue. Same went with Yaya Toure slapping and kicking Mata, because of no fuss nothing happened. That Aguero one though, I don't have a f**king clue what happened there, so apparently saying sorry means you don't serve your sentence? I'll keep that in mind next time I go out and kill somebody.
October 22, 201411 yr Wait, is it gonna be Ronaldo vs Glen Johnson? This should be fun. Also between Modric, Kroos and Rodriguez, they can show Stevie Me what a long ball really looks like. Haha, Gerrard, Henderson and Allen tipped to start tonight - it's like the Three Stooges against the Three Wise Men. Edited October 22, 201411 yr by PloKoon13

So Real Sociedad, currently 16th in La Liga, can beat Real but Liverpool can't? It's silly to say they have no chance here, especially at home. I do have a feeling the Scousers will do it tonight. I absolutely hope I'm wrong of course.
October 22, 201411 yr Yeah I've been saying it for a while wouldn't be surprised to see Liverpool get something out of this game, although I was really expecting Sturridge to be back and since he isn't then I'm not completely sure but I hope they do get stuffed.
October 22, 201411 yr Beyond belief, really. It's not really. It's well established that the FA simply make things up as they go along. Like how they ignored their own rules to charge JT over the Ferdinand incident. Like how a manager gets an apology from the referees' chief if his side have a decision go against them against Chelsea, yet we've never had an apology, not even for the Suarez bite. October 22, 201411 yr If there was a like option on RAWK this would probably get about 5000 likes, Liverpool fans love it when sh*t like that is written But there isn't.

October 22, 201411 yr Mr Pink I know you must appreciate you're on a rival forum but you do take everything in good spirit. I must say, you're a credit to your lot and I sincerely hope you only let in 8 tonight and not 10.

October 22, 201411 yr Wasn't sure where to post this. A failed footballer has been jailed for posing as Gael Kakuta. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-29724950 I'm sure where could list several people who have pretended to be footballers.
