I know this because my wife has just made me watch an hour of it. To be fair, he's better at this than managing Tottenham Yeah well he'll f**k that job up too.
December 26, 201411 yr Look at those empty seats at the Emirates. Embarrasing. Another argument against how moving to a bigger stadium increases a better atmosphere. I am sure the Emirates Boxing day ticket prices aren't cheap.
December 26, 201411 yr Makes you wonder how bertrand would have done with regular minutes. Always rated him, genuinely didn't see a reason to splash on Shaw and think Ryan given games will end up the better of the two.. (said last season) would have lived him to make it with us but looks like it won't happen now.. Best of luck to him
December 26, 201411 yr Pellegrini unhappy that YaYa Toure will be gone from 10 January for the African Cup of Nations - I think this means he will miss the Chelsea v Man City game at the end of January. This probably makes it more certain that Frank Lampard will turn out against us at the Bridge. As for the ACN - I can only think of Mikel and Didier who'd be off to that, can't think of anyone else??
December 26, 201411 yr Nigeria didn't qualify and I think Dider has retired from internationals so we actually won't be losing any players for the first time in a loooooong time

December 26, 201411 yr I never wanted him to go, i always thought he was a very good LB. I think he should be Englands first choice LB on current form. then add to the fact that Bert got to be Ash's protégé I liked Giroud. I like him even more now. Should have head butted Camel face while he was at it. Piers & Claude will disagree w/ you there mate. Here is a funny tweet from Piers @piersmorgan Giroud will NEVER be a Premier League winning striker. Slow and stupid. #afc
December 26, 201411 yr Morgan's such a twat. Just saying. yep & he gets paid representing The English POV Edited December 26, 201411 yr by robdog

December 26, 201411 yr Mikel will be but not Didier he's retired Nope Mikel will be w/ CFC - Nigeria didn't qualify for the Big African Dance
December 26, 201411 yr TBH respect to Man City they have real fire power, more than we have. But teams are just bending over backwards for them, it's like they aren't focusing or wasting a game plan on them, accept the loss go for a risky win because we will probably lose anyway then focus on our next team. Some pathetic performances I've seen from some of the sides playing them recently, they haven't even got a striker, do teams not want to take advantage? Oh well at least we have played and won harder games so far this season, just need to keep going, Southampton next is it? We can do it.

Every time someone asks if any of our players are going to the African cup of Nations i am always reminded of the Demba Ba joke that was going around on here 2 years ago
December 26, 201411 yr I had to sit through that sh*t too and now she's making me watch Downton bloody Abbey urgh!I had to watch that last night. December 26, 201411 yr Chelsea play sublime stuff against a team in top four and full of confidence...what to motd lead with? City's routine win against relegation fodder west brom...go figure
December 26, 201411 yr Chelsea play sublime stuff against a team in top four and full of confidence...what to motd lead with? City's routine win against relegation fodder west brom...go figure Would not be at all surprised if they show Ivanovic's dive and leave out Valencia's dive.
December 26, 201411 yr Well the back pages are all leading with it so wouldn't be surprised if they jump on the bandwagon too
December 26, 201411 yr Chelsea play sublime stuff against a team in top four and full of confidence...what to motd lead with? City's routine win against relegation fodder west brom...go figure They normally try to avoid putting the TV games on first, unless it was quite clearly the biggest and best game of the day.
December 26, 201411 yr Well the back pages are all leading with it so wouldn't be surprised if they jump on the bandwagon too Really ? So out of all the things that happened on Boxing day they think the most important part was Ivanovic's dive, even though Valencia dived for West Ham in the very same game. And people wonder we think the media hates us.
December 26, 201411 yr ^ mactheknife Will change your sentence to... They normally try to avoid putting chelsea on first, unless they have lost - as they did against Newcastle a few weeks back (which was first time in ages they led with us on the show) Edited December 26, 201411 yr by The Brit
December 26, 201411 yr And unsurprisingly in highlights valencia's dive wasn't shown, Ivan's was and the commentator made a big song and dance about it...I didn't like what Ivan did either but if the media are going to go on a diving campaign then highlight everyone, don't pick and choose

They normally try to avoid putting chelsea on first, unless they have lost - as they did against Newcastle a few weeks back (which was first time in ages they led with us on the show) But that was a shock result, you can't not lead with it. I'm pretty sure they led with the Everton game, which was on TV. Though they should have definitely started with us today as the games were all a bit bland.
