Zlatan talks about himself in the third person but has spent just one season in a top European league.

Now you might say Italy was a top league but how many of his years were spent at a club who fixed matches?

Ronaldo did it in the two toughest leagues and won the champions league at both clubs.

No one is doubting Ronaldos abilty, what part of that is not getting into your thick skull!!!! FFS

This is not the point. The point has always been that Ronaldo is NOT a team player. It's not about what he's won or how many goals he's scored. Yes, he's won titles and broken records, and I rate him for that, but I can't applaud him wholeheartedly because of the way he acts in relation to his team mates. It's not about his pretty boy image or whatever. It's about being a spoilt brat.

That's still not the point, Ronaldo isn't the most arrogant player, it doesn't matter how good one is and one isn't. But he does put his own personal glories ahead of the team a lot, whether it's his motivation technique or not it has always been me me me with him.

I disagree but I understand your point.

I just don't think it's ever got in the way of his contribution to the team and I think his drive for personal glory is something that all top sportsmen share.

Just my opinion but is there an example of a sportsmen who doesn't have that mentality? I doubt it.

Despite today being an extraordinary day for us, judging by the threads, BD is in Blue Drain mode today.

Honestly mate, I dont know why you or anyone else bothers with him. complete waste of space.

Again, I can kinda see why you might think that but there's absolutely no evidence to show it's affected his teammates or his teams performance.

In fact many speak of his value as a teammate. But we'll just have to agree to disagree.

I think it's the nerves that does it. I'm sure we all agree on everything after the match IF we win today. Then again, this thread should be "fun", if we don't...

Most in my opinion, well in football anyway. Can't think of too many who put themselves ahead of the team, fat Ronaldo was definitely one though, probably something to do with being called Ronaldo I guess.

Nobody is upset who I can think of, I'm not anyway.

It is going to take a lot to upset us on a day like this, well that's if we win anyway.

Honestly mate, you put your views across well and whilst we disagreed I think we can both see where the other is coming from and were respectful.

Some people have difficulty with that but maybe they're going through some stuff.

For everyone else this is an amazing day to share with family, friends, loved ones and the Chelsea family.

Have a good one!

I wasn't referring to you. You put your points across well as usual.

Hope we get the result today. Plus I can see your point of view in the other thread. I just don't quite agree. No biggie.

That's true, but seeing how he argues with team mates and shouts at them and ultimately doesn't celebrate his team mates' goals does make him look a bit of a prick. Behaviour like that can be poisonous in  dressing room. It's all well and good when he keeps scoring, but you'd really have to judge it when(if) he has a goal drought. He's having hissy fits as it is, so I can't imagine what he'd be like when he's not scoring.

I've officially given up on him, I'm sure he's a troll!

Anyway, enjoy the game, maybe we could meet up and discuss this face to face like men.......... over a pint!

That he certainly does no one is saying he's a Nicklas Bendtner, but I believe he puts his own glory ahead of the team, which is why I wouldn't want him at Chelsea.

No one is discrediting what he does off the pitch as in training.

That's fair enough I would say, he probably does

I'll be honest here, I disagree with Blue Daze more than I agree with him, but he is far from a troll. He always gets his point across. I think it's unfair that so many people label him as a 'troll'. At least he makes effort in his arguments.

The cliches are funny I'll admit, but I'll vouch for him here because I think it is unfair that the forum gangs up on him a bit because people are disagreeing with him a lot. He's a top poster in my opinion.

Champions at last, it is back, we are Chelsea and we will be back in it next year guaranteed, we will always be competing under Mourinho.

10 years ago, Gerrard could've signed for #Chelsea to win an endless amount of trophies. Instead, he'll give us a guard of honour next week. Poor Bugger.

Davey will be upset.

A winning points margin of 13 has only been bettered once before since 1888. That was by Manchester United in 1999-00. I think that puts into context what Jose and this team have achieved, a truly outstanding performance.
