May 4, 201511 yr You're going to keep questioning my support based on my view on the League Cup? Good thing I'm above turning that around on you isn't it? And what is this other way? The fact that you say that 'you don't have to read it' sums you up. There's a really short post a few pages back that bullet points what the owners have done. I have sympathy for the Huddersfield fans but when you're watching your club being dismantled and left to rot then what exactly would you do? Actually no I'm not questioning your support at all, you have twisted that. I just wasn't shocked you said a game wasn't important after your views on the league cup. Turning it around on me how exactly? Because I believe winning all trophies is important, because I've seen us win nothing and appreciate any trophy. But what the owners have done is irrelevant, how is it fair to Huddersfield supporters? Or even those Blackpool supporters that weren't involved? They work hard for their money and it's been wasted on a trip to a match that ended up getting abandoned. That isn't fair at all. The fact you can't see this I just don't understand. I would like it to wait until after the match personally, it was very selfish of those supporters to do that.
May 4, 201511 yr I thought it interesting that some felt they needed anonymity via a mask, that doesn't prompt, or denote, intention of open complaint. Well those that wore masks were obviously worried they'd be caught and possibly banned from future matches. Edited May 4, 201511 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
May 4, 201511 yr I have disagreed with Blue Daze in the past, but you can't deny he's Chelsea through and through. Not afraid to go against the grain either, which I respect, as I often do myself.
May 4, 201511 yr Go and read what the Oystons are doing to that club and how they're taking on their own fans. This is the supporters club and this is the only way they can actually make an impact. I hope they manage to force those running their club out. It seems violent protests are the only way to actually make a difference these days, Baltimore for instance.

I haven't said he isn't at all, he's actually put words in my mouth there. I just don't like how he devalues certain trophies etc and it's something he and I have discussed before. I was merely pointing out I'm not surprised he thought it was OK yesterday cause Huddersfield had nothing to play for given his attitude towards the league cup for example.

I would like it to wait until after the match personally, it was very selfish of those supporters to do that. I feel for the Huddersfield fans who made the trip but any football supporter must be able to sympathise with a fanbase who are watching their club being torn apart. Sitting idly by (which is what you're advocating because a protest after the match would've gone completely unnoticed) won't work. Ultimately it was a match between a side who are down and a side who are in lower-mid-table. The Blackpool fans seem to be desperate and I can't blame them.

It's irrelevant what was at stake in the match Huddersfield fans and those Blackpool fans that weren't involved had every right to view a football match. The fact that a contingent of supporters decided to get a match abandoned is a disgrace to those that were there to watch the match, they had spent their hard earned money for Christ sakes. Even if they replay it and give them all free tickets, those fans still have to fork out for travel, food, etc.
May 4, 201511 yr But why couldn't it wait until after? Because it would've had zero impact. It's irrelevant what was at stake in the match Huddersfield fans and those Blackpool fans that weren't involved had every right to view a football match. Even if they replay it and give them all free tickets, those fans still have to fork out for travel, food, etc. It's terrible, but the Huddersfield fans at last know their club is in the Championship next season and they're owners are going to do the best by them. It's temporary pain for long-term survival.
May 4, 201511 yr I didn't get that (i.e. re WHL either). It was too long ago to be relevant. Had it happened last week, fair enough. On our current form it's an irrelevant point. Just goes to show what a prat he is...bringing up something that happened in Jan...surprised he didn't bring up the Bradford score..twat

It's terrible, but the Huddersfield fans at last know their club is in the Championship next season and they're owners are going to do the best by them. It's temporary pain for long-term survival. I don't see how it would, refusing to leave the stadium at the final whistle. It's same a a pitch invasion, That's not the point though they are paying fans they had a right to watch a football match. We're just gonna have to agree to disagree.
May 4, 201511 yr Chelsea fans have done it in the past, I don't see the problem to be honest, how else can fans get their point across.
May 4, 201511 yr Chelsea fans have done it in the past, I don't see the problem to be honest, how else can fans get their point across. I think it's inconsiderate to the opposition fans and should have been done afterwards.
May 4, 201511 yr Huddersfield had next to nothing to play for and what's happening in that league is a scandal so I genuinely think every proper supporter would stand shoulder to shoulder with the Blackpool fans protesting, if not simply to demonstrate that football fans won't take their owners being absent in their duty to their supporters. Honestly mate, go read what's been going on and read the Blackpool supporters forum (which I think is still facing legal action from the Oystons). I'm sorry, but when there are tragedies at football grounds, do you know where the safest place is?? On the pitch, in the centre circle. The greatest danger facing those fans was stepping in a divot and twisting their ankle. But too much handwringing going on when football supporters are fighting for the survival of their football club. As a club who aren't far removed from their own club going under (for different reasons) I'm amazed. 110% behind the Blackpool fans on this, the way the club is run is an absolute disgrace. If it was Chelsea or argyle in the same position it would be me on a mobility scooter in the middle of the pitch.
May 4, 201511 yr Just in case it's not been mentioned before, Pellegrini's bitter post match comments about chelsea title win showed a lack of class and respect...Jose is always painted as the bad guy but walking corpse's lack of grace and ability to give credit where it's due to deserved champions should be highlighted just as much as anything Jose has done

May 4, 201511 yr Huddersfield having nothing to play for is irrelevant, but I still think short term pain for long term gain makes it acceptable. Their club has been run into the ground.
May 4, 201511 yr I noticed he never congratulated us, that's a really poor show. I think he's feeling the pressure, probably waiting to be sacked, Not just lack of congratulations, but talking sh*t about how his team won with more style and he'd never play our way...well our way won the title with ease, he had to rely on us to do him a big favour by beating Liverpool after they had got shat on a few weeks before
May 4, 201511 yr I'm not surprised. He and his team have been making digs at us the whole year saying we're nothing special.

City haven't won a title convincingly yet, their first on goal difference and the second by a few points on the last day of the season. Edited May 4, 201511 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
May 4, 201511 yr Surprised and a bit disappointed with Pellegrini's comments. What a c**t.Hmmm. He's giving what Jose has given him all this time. He is just very bad at it.
