Phil Dowd: What a c**t

Featured Replies

He was no worse than plenty of other referees. We can't blame the referee for failing to see out what should have been a simple win.

Was a total w**ker, clear as day penalty on Ivanovic in the first, then Ivanovic's first yellow card was laughable and continually gave United soft fouls around the box while not giving the same type of fouls to us.

Either way he was still better than Chris Foy or Clattenburg, not that thats saying much.

I agree with Zeta, some poor decisions but throwing the three points away today was down to Jose not the ref. Why don't we keep doing what puts us in a winning position after we're 1 up?

Radio5 live didn't seem too impressed by the ref. As I said earlier

Martin Tyler erks me as much as Adrian Chiles, if ever the two were able to reproduce, or had a threesome with Phil not well en Dowd, the offspring would be someone like Gerrard.

Two take downs in the box on the same corner and no one sees anything??

That is the most blatant i have ever seen. It's worse than what Shawcross does for Stoke.

It pisses me off because this is actually really poor defending from both of them and it should have been punished. You're not even allowed to do this sh*t in Rugby for goodness sake.

Never mind, at least two members of this forum though he did ok

Are they blind?

Not a Mail fan, but one of the pieces to go with that extraordinary photo. It's a disgrace it happened, but a bigger disgrace that it was unchecked.

The foul count was 14-13, yet Dowd was card happy with our fouls and stingy with the bookings for theirs, and one was for RVP celebrating.
