Jamie Redknapp

Featured Replies

The thing is it would kinda be ok if he actually offered something as a pundit, but he doesn't. The likes of Neville, Carragher, Souness, Gullit, Wilkins, even Smith really do give insight into the match and provide some good analysis. Redknapp wears a suit well and that's about it. He's a good looking bloke and that seems to save him, along with his relationship with the guys who do that sh*tty version of They Think It's All Over.

His dad was a chancer as a manager and Jamie is a chancer of a pundit.

If you compare redknapp with the achievements of sky's other main pundits, neville, carragher, souness, and gullit. There is no way on earth redknapp is qualified to do that job.

I hope Mourinho pushes the anti redknapp campaign until sky get rid of him.

At best redknapp should be on soccer Saturday at one of the league 2 grounds, getting piss wet through, with the likes of Ian dowie, kammy, and matt Murray who are much closer to his level of standing in the game.

In a match of this magnitude who was giving the chelsea perspective in the studio?

Redknapp. His cousin played for us.

Vapid airhead who has absolutely nothing of worth to contribute to any football discussion. Not sure if he's even worth the energy already put into this thread as I certainly wouldn't notice he was gone.

Think I will write something short and to the point this morning on my coffee break. If enough people do it he is bound to get told to tone it down a bit.

I wrote a nice long email of complaint whilst on the sh*tter. Very enjoyable indeed. :laugh2:

In his defense (love to play the devil's advocate): he actually said something positive about José last night, about bringing Courtois back being the right choise.

That's pretty obvious however.

Stop defending that complete waste of space, he`s an imbecile who brings absolutely nothing to any discussion.

Oh and Novaca, add "ine for the soul" to your username and instantly become my favourite forum member

It's Noverca :P

I don't understand your last sentence, what do you mean?

Ha ha, sorry. There's an old song called "novacaine for the soul" by a band called Eels. Absolutely one of my favourite tunes of all time.

Ow, I know the album and even have it in my iTunes. :P But I don't like it that much tbh haha.

Noverca is Latin for stephmother. When I was like 10/11, I bought a Playstation 3 and needed a name, so i picked 'your_noverca': if i killed someone in COD he saw 'you are killed by your_noverca' and I found that quite funny.  So now my name on forums is Noverca.

In fairness, after Suarez bit Ivanovic I think it was Souness tried to defend him. Redknapp tore Souness apart saying how it was unforgivable what Suarez did and he should be punished for a long time.

I would love to know what his fellow pundits on Sky think about him. I don't have Sky at home so the only time I listen to him is when I'm watching a  game in the pub. Even then the pub tends to be noisy so you can't always his comments and those of others - which is probably a blessing.

As others have said it would help if he had something insightful to say but he doesn't. There are far better pundits than him.
